Smokie Norful’s new single, “Justified,” from his upcoming album is the #1 Most Added song at radio this week, according to the R&R charts (that’s Radio & Records).
The full album, Smokie Norful Live, is due in stores on April 7th. An accompanying DVD will be available digitally that day, with the hard copy being in stores on June 30th. In the meantime, the single is available for download now on iTunes.
I’ve only heard a snippet of it on his MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/smokienorful), but it’s cool enough. I’m interested in knowing what he’ll do on the vamp… It’s pretty church-friendly, so money says somebody’s choir or praise team is gonna give it a go. 
AND, if anyone listens to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, he’ll be performing “Jesus Is Love,” with Heather Headley LIVE on the air tomorrow morning.

I loved the song til the vamp. I'm kind of tired of the predictable "church vamp", but I can see people "going in" on the vamp when he does it live. Of course he's always bringing it with the vocals, so its cool.
I heard the single on the radio this past Sunday morning. It's a pretty hot track. He took it to church on the vamp for sure. I can't wait to hear the rest of it. I would like to know who produced it.
Could be wrong, but I believe Smokie Norful does his own production along with Jason Tyson (bad musician).
I must say that I am very happy to hear the industry moving more and more back to the power and presence of the Word. I am hearing more of the top artists singing messages about more than just "getting my blessing" and really preaching deep Word! It's about time! What do other think?
This CD Is just greatness in my eyes. I Love every song!!! The anointing is strong, on each track. His voice, his anointing, God on the inside of him. Ah The bgv's blend is sicccckk. It is just awesome amen'd churrrch.
