On TV: 106 and Gospel

Finally!  The taping I went to a few weeks ago aired yesterday. It featured James Fortune & FIYA and Damita Haddon.

James Fortune sang his hit, “I Trust You.”  The song has been #1 at radio for 27 weeks!  Awesome energy, awesome response from the audience.  And great interview.  Damita Haddon also did a great interview. She spoke well about dressing modestly while still being herself.  She’s cool. YAY Damita!  Plus, her performance was great. And shout-out to my childhood buddy, Toni, on the bgv’s!

In her “Lifestyle” segment, Kierra Sheard gave some nice clothing tips for the young ladies.  Who’s the lifestyle correspondent for the dudes???

And can I quickly mention that I love what Juda Camp has done for the house choir songs?  Me likey!

Anyone wanna weigh in?

lol@EJ...imma be good in hurr!!! but seriously, just because you are an artist does NOT make you an authority on everything!!! (that's my point) sometimes these outfits they have on look a hott mess!! i've always had my 'own' mind on a lot of issues and don't just buy into the hype....but I do try to respect people!! (lol)

Well, like I said before, I'm not big on Damita Haddon, but I REALLY enojoy her single "Looking Back". That's a jam! I wasnt feeling everything that was said when they started talking about "looking sexy" in the video. James Fortune was good, and that one girl he had singing ad libs was really good! He does such a GREAT job talking over that song. My only issue is the rest of his project is not on the same level as "Ill Trust You". Yes, JudaCamp will be missed. They sounded great, and they used a different vibe (using just bass & lead guitar).
