I have to admit that I don’t know much about this new artist YET (emphasis on the “YET” part), but I’m definitely gonna be doing my research for y’all cuz I think she’s reeeaally good.
Her name is Indigo and she’s a new artist, soon to be released on Universal Music Group. She was recently featured on the One Love Gospel Cruise and on the Yolanda Adams Morning Show. I watched her video and I thought “ummm… yes… we like!”
I could see her doing very well with Christian young women. Role model-y and what not. And I really like the song! Note to BET: please put her video in the 106 & Gospel rotation so we ain’t gotta keep seein’ _______

Yes...we like!!! A real new artist....she doesn't sound like anybody...and the song is catchy! Yes...we really like!!
She actually sounds like gospel's version of Jazmin Sullivan.....send it out and give her listeners other option! Go girl! (Though I do have to say that the intro and the setting for the second part of the video seem incongruent---I mean....leave the brother's house to go to a party?)
I agree with Darrly... i was gettin ready for this big ballad with strings... then the whole vibe just SWITCHES up on me!! (i actually frowned at first cause i thought she was about to rap) LOL But, i do like her vibe and the song ... reminds me of Debra Killings with a lil bit if Coko mixed in there... looking forward to hearing more from her! Might need to invite her to my church...
I really, really like, but I agree that the switch in vibe was completely unexpected and I too thought she was going to rap :). I'll be on the look out for her stuff.
