Word has it that LaTonya Blige, sister of famed R&B artist Mary J. Blige, is prepping for a gospel release. And Mary J. even does a little spot on it. I listened and…
Oh boy. Listen to the single here, courtesy of thafeedback.com.
Make sure you come back and lemme know what you think!

Maybe Bebe Winans and The Marys can weigh in on this one? lol The ending was interesting..........
Well, I'm not gonna bash it. I dont think it's bad at all, I just think who ever she had produce her vocals left her hanging. Even stuff that may sound wrong vocally, could have been "touched up" during editing. Latonya is not the greatest singer in the world, but they could have cleaned up her vocals more. Autotunes even makes Kanye West sound in tune, so who ever produced the song was just straight lazy!
(blank stare) Mary shouldve been like... "La La, let me make a call to Waryn cause you aint releasing this crap with my name on it! I mean, I love you and all sis and this is no hateration..but ah... this aint gon work!" (and scene)
@Dominique: right?! @luda: I hear you. It's not a bad track to me, just needs some auto-tune BADLY. @ A. Will: you're craaaaaaaaaazy for "and scene"! HAAHAHAHAA
you KNOW how I feel about it. wackness abounds. :)
but i love Mary J. she's consistent, at least. enjoyed her aggressive, muffled, mic thing. (i'm just abiding by the house rules!)
Oh Mary..dontcha weep....and tell your sister martha...not to MOAN!! I agree with luda...they coulda helped this out ! It's not all that terrible...it's just not all that wonderful either!!
I love this song! LaTonya's voice sound like a delicate lighter version of Mary's and it's perfect for the beginning because her voice makes me feel the humility of where I need God in my life. Than Mary comes through with the strength in her voice that reminds me that I am more than a conquer in Him! And the end brings it all together by focusing on faith and reminds me how any person can saved through faith and Believing!!!!!!! To me it's an intimate portrait of the humility and strength I feel in my relationship with God.
