The Jenkins Sisters won, it was on streaming faith a while back. The Jenkins Sisters are very young they did a Clark Sisters song that escapes me @ this time.
I was a finalist on that show, the one's who mic stopped working they probably didnt want you to see that.
My group ANEW made it to the semi-finals.......we werent chosen for the final....however, we registered for the next year, and paid our monies, but they cancelled it.....needless to say, we are still waiting for the refund....and its been over a year...... This doesnt look god on the Word Network nor Lexi's reputation.....she will not return the monies and will not return the calls, she has also disabled some on her links of email to contact her, but she SHE IS FOREVER IN THE SPOT LIGHT..... One think I remember her saying that sticks in my mind....."some of these industries are here to make money off your back" make me wonder was she one of the "industries" Independent Artists are the ones who are hurt by this, because we want so much to get our Music Ministry out there........... All praises to God my fellow believers in Christ Jesus, I was a contestant in Gospel F.O.C.U.S. in 2008 semi-final. Well, of course we were told not to close our eyes when we sang our song and I know that I did close my eyes. I felt that was such a stupid rule, but of course, the professionals don't close their eyes when they sing (Duh!) Lexi appears to be a sweet and righteous sister, but oftentimes, people have too much overhead. They want to be in posh hotels and eat and drink the best of everything. Grant you, that's ok, if you have the finances to back it up, but don't get people's hope up for another Gospel F.O.C.U.S. and not show up or broadcast even worse, accept their registration fees and not refund those participants when the curtains close. Come on, Lexi and Crew you guys know better. We have all fallen short of the glory of God and money is most often the cause. If you don't have the money to refund why not ask some of the people from earlier audition to help you put on a fund raiser concert to give the people their money back if you don't have it to give upfront, in the meantime, they'll be getting exposure to the Gospel music industry by some of the A&R peeps. Be truthful and genuine, people are always willing to help when you come back with the truth. God-Jesus forgives instantanenously, man on the hand is not that forgiving for wrongdoings. Wow its amazing to here all these stories! I was wondering who won in 2008-I was a contestant as well who they said they were bored by my Tamela Mann slection cause they are not looking for the anointing-I knew Then, I was in the wrong place -I heard Gods voice at that time saying I have something far greater for you and I see ,now that I hear these comments, glad I didnt get picked-it would have only been a deterioated dream! Praying for everyone that was done unjustly. They didnt even broadcast the winner like they did the Nevels sisters-no commercials ,no videos, nothing! sad-but Jesus knows Be blessed,and thanks for this blog spot- P.S I must say though that Telisa was the only real true blue person on the Panel! WOW I was also a contestant in the semi-finals and i remember all of what was said on here. my name is SimmieRay i was the one everyone was calling chocolate. lol. but i have spoken with the Jenkins Sisters and they informed me that Lexi and her husband was going through divorce and they have yet to fulfill all of there obligations to them for winning. I pray that they get it together real soon... were pos to be people of God..
