Another Fred Hammond Gospel Hit! Wait on the Lord! if you notice a lot of new Gospel songs are saying wait on the Lord. i think God sees his people going through many trials and He is encouraging us to just wait and it will be alright! I am waiting on the latter rain to fall afresh on the Church world wide. Looking Forward to a great Harvest of souls!

I love good collabs esp. with my fave artists. The song's nice. When I heard the music I immediately thought it would go well with, or right along with Isreal's song "Just Wanna Say".

  • Calvin B. wrote on June 9, 2009

Cool man.....I guess I really didn't like the fact that the song felt so much like Isreal's single "Just Wanna Say", but that happens from time to time in all music. The song is very cool though!!!

  • Troy wrote on June 9, 2009

Alfred I think you right on point. This is much more than another hit song. There is definitely a consistent and unified message going out to the body of Christ to "Wait On the Lord." I thank God for Brother Hammond and Brother Kee, but HEAR the Word of the Lord and take heed so that you may receive the promise!

  • wesley wrote on June 20, 2009

  • Twanna Green wrote on June 22, 2009

I think this track it amazing. I had the opportunity to interview Fred a couple of years of ago for Charisma magazine. He is really a humble and cool dude. I can't wait for the album to come out. Thanks for sharing the first single with us...

  • Dwayne Lacy wrote on June 23, 2009

For those that said that it sounds like "Just Wanna Say", listen to the first Motor CIty Mass Choir CD, "SHout In The House" (produced and arranged by Fred). It has the sound of that CD. Yeah the tempo is like the tempo of "Just Wanna Say", but Fred has done stuff like this before. "Just Wanna Say" (I love this song!!!!!!) has a more Outkast vibe while "They That Wait" is more churchy. They That Wait is now available on itunes!!!!!

BTW - Denise & Ray are right, John IS singing clearer and more that hyping the track. Fred is a master producer that knows how to bring the best out of an artist. SEPT 29TH !!! CAN'T WAIT
