Survey Said: "Uhhh…I think I'ma hold on to my money for now!"

Well, I guess this IS a recession and all… :-(

Which of the following albums are you MOST excited to buy in July???

Uhhh…I think I’ma hold on to my money for now! – 22% (40 votes)

Coko – 20% (36 votes)

Da’ T.R.U.T.H. – 19% (35 votes)

Mali Music – 17% (30 votes)

Melinda Watts – 15% (27 votes)

Earnest Pugh – 7% (13 votes)

Some pretty close votes, actually, and I saw that the results fluctuated week by week… sometimes, Melinda Watts’ new project was the most highly desired, sometimes Da’ T.R.U.T.H.’s album… so, I say BUY WHAT YOU WILL, just BUY!  Oh, and add Claude Deuce’s debut project to the list– it’s hot.

Leave a comment and lemme know what YOU’RE getting!

And don’t forget to vote in the next poll NOW:

Digital or physical– how do you buy your gospel music these days?

I just hope the reason people aren't gonna buy is because they're gonna burn it off somebody else who did. We've gotta do better.

The money for da Truth and Mali joint is already laid aside. I can get the rest later.

I am looking forward to Claude Deuce's cd. It should be pretty hot. Although you didn't have this one listed, I kind of want to see what Dr. Jeff Jacobs came up with on his new project "He's Just Alright." Yes, it's a little bit more traditional, but sometimes we need a little old school. www.thepieeffect.blogspot.com - all about gospel music

Honestly not sold on any of them, so I'll be going through the snippets on i-tunes, lol. If I had to pick one I'd say Coko, but she's still getting a snippet run through, lol. I'm rooting for her though, hope it's a great project!

@SMG: both Ike's and Lowell's solo projects were slated for release this year, but no firm dates. I know that Ike is in the studio and I've heard a track from Lowell... I'll keep you posted.

I know it's September and i'm a little late, but I did happen to pick up Da T.R.U.T.H's latest album the BIG PICTURE. Let me preface this by saying that I am a hard core TRUTH fan... I just feel as though this album had more instrumental than rap content. It's still a decent album, but it does NOT compare to his Faith album or Open Book. Those albums are definitely WINNERS in my ipod playlists. Recommended Song on the Album: Lost feat. Tia Pittman
