WATTTT IS MARY MARY REALLY ON TOUR WIT MAXWELLLLLLL...THAS DIFF
Mary Mary is ont tour with Maxwell?!? Does anybody else find that to be out of line? OMG!
@Anonymous It caught me off-guard, and out of all that EJ put in the Twitter Roll, i figured that was gonna make the biggest splash, but remember MM started out singing bgv's for Brandy and toured with R&B acts like Eric Benet, etc. back in the day. Shouldn't we carry the water to the desert and stop dumping it back into the sea?
GO MARY MARY.... I can't believe it but I agree with luvgoodsangin though
The Mary's should just go ahead and just do r&b they know they want to
@luvgoodsangin..I just loved you're comment..nicely put! Frankly..check the record..Jesus was always away from the religious folk..Pharisees hated that:0
Keep doing it Mary Mary!
@Jaccor--thank you. Wish i could take all the credit, but there's an OLD song that says that....but the concept is true. I will be interested to hear from people who go to the shows say about the impact of MM's performance? Will they sense the difference? @Faith for the record, i think MM are classified as Gospel R&B?
I don't know much but the Bible says go ye therfore and teach all nations.....
"luvgoodsangin" and all of you who agree with that person are misguided. Mary Mary is missing it and are attracting Christians to secular events... not the other way around. We need to wake up! Even though Jesus reached out to sinners, he didn't collaborate with them for his "international boat tour" and give the audiences a two-for-one deal with the Pharisees and other sinners being on the "ticket." This is ridiculous and there's a thin line between influencing others and being influenced. Let us not forget that Maxwell is the headliner. So after that few minutes of Jesus a la Mary Mary, the rest is gonna be sex, lust and debauchery... all day. Come on. Wake up... please!!
@anonymous. Chill out, please. You just being too deep. First of all we are all sinners, only through His grace are we saved. Second of all Maxwell, if you would take the time to research is very spiritual and professes Jesus to be his savior. We get so caught up in genres- holy hip hop, gospel R&B, Neo gospel- just let it be music. All music was created by God. How bout you pick up PJ Morton's book "Why Can't I sing About Love" But all in all, what we think or say doesnt matter. Souls are being touched and saved that is all i care about. Some people who came to see Maxwell may not have known Jesus prior to the concert until after MM finished there set. This is a different generation, we have to reach all people and it may take some unconventional ways. I'm a witness. @luvgoodsangin "Shouldn’t we carry the water to the desert and stop dumping it back into the sea?"--Yes. Oh and I like how people talk like they were one of the disciplines with Jesus. I'm sure Jesus is not worried, so why are we. Millions of people who otherwise may not have known him, were exposed to an evening where good music was sang, love [God is love] was spread through song, and His name was exalted. And I'd like to think he was pleased with that.
*disciples
@DAS: Thanks for calling me "deep." I actually regard that as a compliment. I think most people are not deep enough... not deeply rooted enough in God's word to REALLY learn His heart. I don't believe He's pleased at all with all the compromise. I suppose Jesus was smiling when Mary Mary had Kanye and his stripper video-vixen girlfriend in the "God In Me" video. Stop it. Really.
I read Romans 14:1-6. Though I don't agree, it's not my place to judge.
It's really w.e To each it's own. Praise God
Kum bi ya ma Lord...kum bi yaaaa... Alright alright chillun....everybody's ministry technique and approach may be different but who are we to say God is not using them...guess what, ultimately if HE doesnt approve it, HE'll soon shut it down..that goes across the board and not just to a specific group of people
