I got my paws on Rizen’s upcoming album (due on October 27th), entitled Free. Don’t forget that the group has gone from four to two– it’s just the two sisters on this one.
I haven’t listened to all the tracks yet, but the songs that I’ve heard so far have a sort of funk-meets-quartet kinda style. I’ll give a full review as the release date approaches.

wow! they're down to 2?? what happened?/..they originally started as an ensemble..i have their 1st cd...then they went to the 4 ladies....this reminds me of the group "Anointed"....Im curious as to how this will sound...

I can a sure you there was no drama, they just grew apart...the cd is out of sight...I know all the fans will appreciate the creativity of the music.
The leader sounds like she could knock down all the walls of Satan with her voice alone! I'm still jamming off the work out DVD with the group's guest appearance...... The leader singer comes in with "Don't Stop, Don't Stop, Don't Stop Praising! Heeeeeeeey heeeeeeey".Whenever I hear that part there is the same feeling of pure joy. I must have this album too.
Hey to my wonderful sisters the album cover is beautiful. I can't wait til oct. 27th. I'm holding it down for ya'll down in cali. For those that want to know why it's only two. There was know drama just know that there is a season for everything. God is blessing.

I am a huge fan of Rizen. Those sisters are heaven bound warriors. You can be assured there was no drama when they shrunk to two. These ladies are off the chain! That Adriann, WHAT a Voice. You have not heard anything until you have heard these ladies sing Praises to the LORD! I love that cover , ladies! God's blessings to you!

I happen to be a Rizen fan, but there are some strong parallelisms in the going on with their new album cover and the album cover of Mary Mary's recent project The Sound. I mean one has honey blonde hair and the other is contrasted with the dark brooding hair. It could just be that it was the same photographer, but it does make you go hmmmm!!! I'm just sayin'.
If you look at the RiZen 2 album cover the one had honey blonde and brown hair they didn't look alike then you can never compare the two because it's too different sounds of music, plus RiZen has more energy than Mary Mary, what do you think?
@Everyone: Your comments are cracking me up. I also agree with Lynn. At this point, any gospel album with two young females on the cover with the latest fashions will cause viewers to refer to MaryMary. However, just as you should not judge a book by the cover.......Don't prejudge an album that way either. I can always tell who is singing a song when it hits the radio. Again, these ladies are absolutely fabulous. Even if they had just put a circle on the cover with their name or a slash of paint like Israel, I'd still get it. The work in the past causes me to expect more on that level. *I would like to see more videos from them. When great artists throw in a DVD , I'm adjusting the budget by all means necessary.

I saw them in concert a couple weeks ago, they were bomb! The new songs are really nice. I'm looking forward to the album!

These women are the TRUTH, when I first saw them on Bobby Jones back in 2004 I believe I was hook. WOW I'm surprise about the group down-sizing, but I know the voices and music hasn't change. I'm SOLD thanks ladies again for your beautiful spritual voices.....
