Is It Just Me: Carl Thomas

Is it just me, or aren’t you kinda hoping Carl Thomas will do a gospel album?

Remember that track, ”Angels,” that he did on Donald Lawrence’s I Speak Life album?  Geeeeeeeeez!

nah, its just you... lol joke, i really liked Carl Thomas's voice man. Kinda miss it being on the radio. But i dont think i'd personally care for a christian record from him unless it blazed and wasn't restricted to solely urban tracks.

I honestly never thought about Carl Thomas doing a gospel album. But how about Fantasia, Chrisette Michelle, Melinda Doolittle or Ledisi doing a gospel album?

I loove Carl Thomas' voice/music. Emotional is like one of my favorite classic r&b albums, it's good music it just changes the atmosphere... I would love a Carl Thomas gospel album in the vein of Emotional, it would be so smooth....

Carl Thomas needs to come back hard regardless. His last couple albums weren't really promoted. His voice is sick tho. Carl Thomas, Marvin Winans, and John Legend have always been my favorite vocally. Side note if Ledisi did a gospel it would shut the whole game down lol.

YES if Ledisi did a Gospel album it WOULD shut the game down lol...she is a beast...not to make anybody mad but I would put her right up there with the other Gospel Beasts!

This is so funny because I was just talking about Carl Thomas with a friend of mine today. It really seems like he's been blacklisted. I don't know why Bad Boy let him go and I wish I knew because he's great. He could have help delay what we have right now in the music industry: talentless people making hits just because they have an image. As far as him making a gospel album, I'd check it out. If I'm not mistaking, he's COGIC so he's no stranger to gospel music.
