I like Vickie Winans but how in the world did she end up with more nominations than almost everybody??? Her cd just came out in August, the same day as J.Moss yet he has none. There are some other artists that look to be stubbed in the nominations too.

I'm more shocked at the names NOT on the list than I am about the ones that are on the list. Wow! It's hard to keep supporting the industry when the Stellar selections are clearly connected to solicitation of votes from SAGMA members rather than the quality of music. Wow! Wow! Wow! How in the world does Mary Mary get left out of CD of the year category????? It topped the charts for like a million weeks!

I can never understand how this works....Donnie McClurkin gets only one nomination!!!!!!...I think his CD " We all are one " is phenominal...Some names are there that I have never heard of before.....This whole thing needs better management.

Don't understand whatsoever how Vickie Winans was able to get in the top ballots. Her album was just released in late August. She haven't even released a second single yet. I get it that her album came out in time for the voting process, but come on...IS THIS REALLY FAIR? Stellars, you got to do better.

...eh. Where is Kim Burrell? Sheri Jones Moffett?

Also the same with Malcolm Williams. His album just came out. Its not even in mainstream stores and he's on the ballot. What about Paul Morton or Larry Trotter or VIP?

How in the world did we over look people like: Brian Courtney Wilson, Earnest Pugh, Sheri Jones, George Huff, Melinda Watts and CoKo??? Who is Phil Carter, Mike McCoy, and Kim Roth???? Why is StephenHurd considerd a Male Vocalist he is a narator and worship leader???? This is turning into a popularity contest now

Ok it's looking very strange here. Earnest Pugh and Sheri Jones had two of the hottest records released this year. Why are these folk forming committes to put them on ballots and they never debuted on billboard even. And Brian Courtney Wilson is selling AND charting and he is NO WHERE to be found.

@Whaaaat? I agree with you about Donnie. I would have liked to have seen his duet with Karen nominated somewhere. That song continues to be in the Top 5 since early this year.

What! Kierra and Vickie for "Artist" of the year? They have clearly made a HUGE mistake! I can't understand why "Mary Mary" does not a a spot for artist of the year...smh

Kiesha....That is what I am talking about. The CD is still in the top 20 on the charts. Who are the people who make the decisions? Maybe the seclection is done by drawing the names from a hat!!!... Sorry..It looks that way to me.
