Karima Kibble, former lead vocalist of gospel group Virtue, recently released her debut solo project, Just Karima.
She just posted the new video for her lead single, “So Happy,” yesterday. And it goes a lil’ something like this:
It took me a minute to get the concept of the video, but I get it. There are a couple of slow-motion effects throughout the video that tend to drag the song’s energy down for me, but Karima looks great and I think it’s a much more quality video than we tend to see in our industry.

I thought the video was hott!! Karima is one of my favorite female artists of all times and listening to this song really makes you happy to just be alive and enjoy this wonderful life God has blessed us with.So stop worrying and complaining and know that the Joy of the Lord is our strength!!! cool video.. love her, LOVE virtue. They are basically my fave gospel group besides mary mary.. Virtue's last album was so amazing. I actually enjoy the really light one's voice.. I think she may be the youngest

I absolutely love Virtue so I have to love Karima too! (Virtue's last album was soooooo SLEPT ON! I still got it in rotation though. Lol.) Great video.
Is that jewelry?!? lol Wonder if she's still an Adventist--for the longest time her and the other Virtue girls seemed pretty uh..obedient(?) to the standards set by seventh day adventist church. I always used to wonder why they NEVER accessorized! Anywho--the video IS really hot, especially compared to others in the industry. Glad to see it...stil love love the song
