Just a quick heads-up:
Gospel Music Channel will air the recent finale of the Verizon Wireless nationwide choir competition, How Sweet The Sound this Sunday, November 22nd at 8pm ET.
In addition to show-stopping choir performances, the program (hosted by Donald Lawrence & Lisa Kimmey-Winans) features a performance by Marvin Sapp, who’s also a judge for the competition.
Good job, Gospel Music Channel! *clapping* We like this.
Who’s tuning in?

I'm all over it! I love a good gospel choir concert/musical. One of my friends is in the AWP Choir and gave me a heads up about the finale airing on GMC. I caught as much of it as I could between Verison's website and YouTube. I'm excited to experience it all over again!
Im curious to see what the collab will be like with the winning choir and D Lawrence at the Stellars in January...I must admit they were anointed...
I watched but I was a bit disappointed. Let me tell you why. I was @ the Live Event here in Detroit. Reason 1: They cut all the churchy parts of the event. They didn't let the viewers see how truly spiritual the event was and how those church choirs can take us IN! lol. Truth is, after Atlanta West (Winners) got done, none of the judges could speak. Byron Cage couldn't stop shouting, the choir members couldn't stop shouting, Dorinda couldn't stop speaking in tongues, Marvin Sapp was straight Preachin! Ha! I just thought it'd be different since it was airing on The Gospel Music Channel, but they cut out alot of the spiritual parts just like network TV does when they air Gospel Events. Reason 2: The Clark Sisters performed LIVE @ the event, but they didn't show that either! :*(
