Isaac Carree has released the title of his upcoming debut solo project… it’ll be called Uncommon Me.
Word has it that the vibe of the album is supposed to demonstrate the vocal agility we’ve seen from Ike, but will also share another side of his musical style and influences.
The vocalist, known best as a member of hit gospel group Men Of Standard and as a singer with John P. Kee’s New Life Community Choir, has not announced a release date.
He’s one of my favorite male vocalists in gospel, so I’m really looking forward to his solo project.

It would be so cool to have Ike and Lowell release their solo projects kinda close to each other and do a church tour together. I would buy both CDs and a ticket to that!
You know I can't wait to hear this album. Its gonna be fiya!! I think if Isaac connect with Baby Dub, Dawkins and Dawkins, Darkchild, Fred Hammond, Jmoss, and Percy Bady, the album would an absolute success. Issac does the smoothest unbelievable runs/turns and the harmony is banging. I have been waiting for a Cd where I didn't have to skip a song and a Cd to make me want to get saved again. I believe this will be that Cd.
Oh yeah. One more thing. The first gospel cd I ever bought was Dawkins and Dawkins entitled Focus. Let my cuz use it and never got it back. Found out that they pulled them off the shelves. Can anyone tell me where to get an original copy, unused? I would like to start a petition to conjure up the return of Dawkins and Dawkins. We don't have to many male artists with that sound, hopefully Isaac wil.........
