Planning for the annual Superbowl Gospel Celebration, now approaching its 11th year, is underway. The concert will take place at the James L. Knight International Center, Miami, FL, on February 5, 2010, during SuperBowl weekend.
The artist line-up is still being finalized, but I’m hearing that the production company is aiming to confirm Israel Houghton, BeBe & CeCe Winans, James Fortune & FIYA and Al Green. Of course, the NFL Players Choir will also perform at the concert.
I follow sports about as closely as an M.C. follows the order of service at a midnight musical, so I don’t necessarily intend to be in Miami for the SuperBowl… but I encourage you guys to go! 
Anyone planning to attend?
EJ- You should go, I've been to a couple Super Bowls in the past few years in my former career as a bodyguard and let me tell you, yes it's a sporting event, but it's just an experience that I think everyone should have at least once. There's so much more than just the sports aspect of it that will be going on. Lots of concerts by some of the top artists out there, and the gospel celebration was fabulous. The player's choir was definitely a pleasant and inspiring surprise. GO!!!
Al Green? What? You got to be kidding me. No Way is Al Green a part of this lineup! What?
NFL Players choir? Who knew? I wonder if there is any footage of that somewhere...I've heard nothing but good things about the previous ones. Too bad I can't be there.

I went a few years ago when it was in miami...it's was awesome!! Bishop Hez, Tye tribbett, J moss..it was crazy!! So...since i'm close to miami...im going fo sho'!! Now, imma need them to step up a little more with that line up...love all those artist...but please bring Hezekiah back!!
I'm not attending but I had no idea NFL had a choir lol. :)
