it's ok. so this is the first track being released? ummmmmm, not really sure. while this was playing, all i could think about was GOD favored me by hez walker and vanessa bell armstrong's "bring out the best in me". in fact, if karen didn't come on after it i would have played vanessa's cd. it's a catchy tune.

This is an Encouraging song for me and my husband - god saw the best in us.
I think it is a nice song, I just have never liked when artists have tried to so obviously recreate that hit that was so big for them. "Never Would Have Made It" broke records and blessed alot of people but that was "NWHMI". When you get a breakout smash like that, don't try to top it or duplicate it....why not leave well enough alone. Just be satisfied that God gave you that song when He did and favored it with the exposure to reach alot of people. However, it is a nice song and Marvin sounds good as always.

Song is cool. I like it. I mean, its a tried and true formula that works with church folk. Chord structure and patterns that always work in church settings. Match with lyrics that minimizes the sin that we commit in our individual lives but somehow always points out how people hate on us (cause you know, we're blameLESS ALL the time). I understand what some of you're thinking. Yes it does sound a bit like "Never would've Made it" but it shouldn't matter how much a song sounds like another or not as long as it's carrying the word of god in it it shouldn't matter. It's an anointed song that was birth from being in the secret place with God...and can not be compared with another song. People need to hear a song like this - (The Best in me)... because of the days that we are living in are so challenging, & ENCOURAGEMENT will bring you hope in whatever situation you are facing. I don't think that this song should be compared to NWHMI. This song has substance all its own. It makes me contemplate the great love Jesus has for me and sets the atmosphere for worship. I'm transparent before Him, He sees my flaws and all yet he loves me anyway; His compassion for me fails not, which makes me want to explode in worship, bowing before Him, lifting my hands to Jesus for always seeing the best in me. What a friend we have in Jesus...my redeemer, waiting for me patiently and willing to love me even when I was unlovable...what a love, what a love, what a love!! The first time I heard this song, I was so excited that God allowed him to do it again! I was going thru something and this song literally spoke to my spirit. I called my girlfriend to ask if she have had a chance to hear it and she said no. But the very next day, she called me to say she listened to it. Her exact words were "It is the bomb!" One of the reasons why I love Marvin Sapp's ministry is because his songs speaks of the Word of God, life experiences and what a persons' soul and spirit is experiencing. I LOVE IT! Being raised in the church I tend to stand out from other females my age. I don't get loud, I don't reveal a lot of skin or wear my clothes too tight and carry myself as the queen my mother taught me to be. So when most guys meet me, they only see the outer me. At first they think I'm "playing church" until they realize I don't play church I go to church, I'm active in the church, for the church is in me. I was in a very bad motorcycle accident July 02, 2009 and things have been so hard for me, everyone seems to dissappear in my time of need. Depression sat in and even suicide have crossed my mind, but on tuesday morning I heard the song on Ricky Smiley's radio show and have not been able to forget not only the words but also the message. Thank you for writing this song for me it has saved my life and gave me my trust back in GOD.

Mr. Sapp, When you sang that song last night "the Best in Me" it really touched my spirit. I felt like that song was for me. It made me feel like God really sees the best in me. When I first heard this song, it was on the Celebration of Gospel and I was facing all kind of problems. My fiancee left me, I got laid off from my job, my oldest son is out here lying on me, so I was going through. I had suicidal thoughts and everything that you can imagine, but Pastor's Sapp song minister to my spirit, that when everyone eles turn their backs on you, when family and friends walk out and leave you, when people always want to harp on the bad, God sees the best. The God that He looks beyond ALLLLLL of my faults and see my needs. He truly sees me for who I am, for the Bible says that He that has begun a great work in you shall see it through to the day of completion. May God keep you my brothers and sisters.

He has a guest speaker a Rev. from Atlanta GA, I do believe. On this particular morning I was feeling low, things weren't going the way I wanted it..but then I realized that everything is not meant for everyone but I heard this sontg & I felt something come across me. If nothing else, this song was meant for ME! I fell in love with this song and had to hunt it down...finally there it was..and yes...I do know...He does see the BEST IN ME!..WOW !

Marvin, I don't know if you hear me or not but, thank you! I heard this song for the first time on yesterday, when I attended the funeral of one of my high school classmates. Tears streamed down my face because the song was about ME! I just couldn't stop crying. I looked to my left to my mom and said, this is ME! I looked to my twin sister and said "This is about Me"!
