Earlier today on Twitter, I did a quick survey asking people to tell me their favorite Hezekiah Walker album and their favorite song from that album…
The responses varied, of course, from Focus On Glory to Family Affair to Souled Out, and everything in between…
I wanted to give you folks the opportunity to weigh in, too. In fact, I didn’t even tell the Twitterverse about my favorite…
It’s a hard one, for sure, cuz I think Love Fellowship is my favorite choir ever. But I think my absolute FAVORITE album from Hezekiah Walker is Live In New York and I’m gonna have to cheat for the favorite song, cuz I have several.
I love “Second Chance” most, I think… but also “Sweeter As The Days Go By,” “I’ll Fly Away,” and… well, the whole project!
Okay, talk to me… TRY to narrow it down, but if you have to name a few albums, or a dozen songs, I won’t mind. LOL

Live In NY!...By Any Means! YES! My favorite CD. There's this lil diddy tucked in between all of the songs you mentioned called Restore Your Joy w/Isaac Carree... *has a baptist fit* That song just does it for me! *calls for the ushers* I'm sorrrrayy.. Try me once again!
Live in NY ALL THE WAY!!! Now mind you, that CD was my first introduction to Pastor Hez...yes, I was a late bloomer when it came to gospel music, lol. But, I heard the other stuff after that and I'm sticking to my original opinion. That CD is THE BEST from him. Come Home was my personal favorite...
"Calling my name" This song was on the radio city album
most ppl do say live in NY. I dunno if I can choose a favorite. He must have a world record for the number of Live In *insert city here* albums lol.
Live in New York hands down!!!!!! However, I love "Restore Your Joy" and "Power Belongs to God", "Jesus My Help" but my all time all time favorite of like allllllllll time..... "CALLING MY NAME" the first time and ofcourse a close second behind that would be the second time Mrs. Figeroa-Caton sang it on the Family Affair II album. That is considerably the best remake of a song by the same group next to Walter Hawkins and Yvette Flunder's remake of "Thank You" (Erik and my favorite gospel song of all time) on the 25th Anniversary Love Alive V! At any rate, Calling My Name is the best! I could sing that song all day!
I would have to go with Live In Atlanta at Morehouse College. I wasn't even saved yet but they played I Will Go In Jesus name on the R&B stations all the time and we didn't have gospel stations on the FM. Live in London was my favorite too. Hmm wasn't saved then either but I am now Lol. I will admit that the choir sounds great now.
'Jesus Is My Help', I used to love singing it when I was in the youth choir back in the day.
WOW...that's a tough one. I would say that my favorite album is Live in Atlanta at Morehouse with Live in Toronto being a VERY close second. In terms of songs, most definitely "Second Chance", "Let the Glory", "Sweeter As the Days Go By" and "I'm Waiting".
How Much We Can Bear, and Let The Glory of The Lord Rest on Me, I also love the original Christ Did It All
Live in Toronto and Live in Atlanta. I can't choose just one song. Too many favourites.
My favorite Hez album is this one! After he and the choir released the Live in Atlanta album, I thought it was great. But after they released the Live in NY, I thought they really outdid themselves!!!
I have to agree with you EJ. Live in NY has some classic choir music on it. I think my favorite is "Come Home". Other favorites are Live at Morehouse College and Live in Toronto (not necessarily) in that order.
(My Top 10) 1. "I'll Be Satisfied" from "Live In New York" 2. "I Will Bless The Lord" from "Pastor Hezekiah Walker Presents LFT" 3. "No Greater Love" from "Live In New York" 4. "I Will Go In Jesus Name" from "Live At Morehouse" 5. "I'll Fly Away" from "Live In New York" 6. "That's Where I'll Be" from "Live At Morehouse" 7. "Any Way You Bless Me" from "Live in Toronto" 8. "I Can't Live Without You" from "Live in Toronto" 9. "Come Home" from "Live In New York" 10. "I Praise God" from "Love Is Live" (Honorable Mention) "On Time" from "Live in Toronto" "Jesus You Set Me Free" from "Live in Toronto" "I'll Make It" from "I'll Make It" "Power Belongs To God" from "Family Affair" "Trust Him from "Focus on Glory" "I'll Make It" from 'I'll Make It" "Oh Lord We Praise You" from "Oh Lord We Praise You" "He's Holy" from "Hez Presents LFT"
CLEAN INSIDE ALLLLL DAY!!!
20/85 is my favorite CD. His best songs are Power Belongs to God & Grateful.
Family Affair II Kim Burrell slayed "The Lord Will Make A Way Somehow" Ted and Sheri killed "He's On Your Side" The leads on every song were just amazing..Timiney on "Calling my Name", Kervy Brown on "Never Gonna Let You Go" (that man reaches the high heavens with some of his notes), Heather Covington on "What A Mighty God We Serve", and Lucinda Moore on "When We Get Over There" John P Kee tore down "I'll Make It" with Hez It has the church staple "I Need You to Survive" and the inspirational "We Made It" Love the urban cut "Breakthrough" and "Any way you bless me" as well..it was just perfect start to finish
