In The News: Last Day For Dove Awards Fan Voting

Just a quick heads-up, folks…

Fan voting for the 41st Annual Dove Awards ends tonight… I think.  The gmc website says it ends on Tuesday, April 20th at midnight.  Technically, that’s when our clocks turn from 11:59pm to 12:00am TONIGHT (cuz when it happens tomorrow, midnight will be April 21st).

IN EITHER CASE, just go ahead and vote NOW to make sure your voice is heard on the Artist Of The Year and New Artist Of The Year categories.

Click here to vote.  You don’t have to tell me who you voted for, but I am interested in knowing who you want to win… ;-)

Talk to me!

@ej It's time to merge the dove & stellar awards & call it ....... I don't know but since there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. gal 3:28 There shouldn't be a black or white award since we are all singing about the same Jesus. And really be honest we don't want it 2b like that but really it is. Black = stellar - White = dove even though the dove awards have mixed it .... Do something EJ!!!! Lol Is that why there is no comments b/c we who are black have already watched the Stellars? Just asking....

Thanks for this post, E.J., and sorry for the confusion. Voting does end tonight (Tuesday), which technically will be April 21! Thanks for pointing out the need for clarification. Totally agree with Jay. Time to merge! Op/ed piece on this very subject on our site today! http://www.gmclife.com/news/insider/inside-gospel-april-20

I agree with the merge! I voted for Kari Jobe for Best New Artist and Casting Crowns for the second award. Both have great projects! I believe that Kari Jobe's project is self-titled and Casting Crowns is called Until the Whole World Hears.

As much as I want Donnie to win for male vocalist of the year, Jason Crabb deserves this honor.
