In my opinion, Finally Karen is one of the best contemporary gospel albums of the past two decades. It had a great blend of studio and live tracks, with awesome production from PAJAM and Donald Lawrence. And the songs are classic. That was clearly my pick, though I love her other albums. How did YOU vote and WHY?

I enjoyed Finally Karen a lot because it was live and Karen's styling on the songs were priceless. At that time she had the time to rip each song to shreds. So I voted for that project. As for the new project I would still have to go with Finally Karen, in my opinion there were only a few stand outs songs. Songs like "All for one","prayed up" those are my faves because she sings hard on them growls and all. I do like it and glad to have purchased it.
I voted for 2nd Chance. I Love seeing KCS live but I prefer studio records. She does more vocally in the studio & I love studio trax too. But I love when those studio trax are played with the live band and KCS puts a new spin on them. I also picked 2nd Chance because it was more my flavor, very contemporary & urban, that's what I like. That's part of the reason why All In One is my new favorite album. JDS has live tracks with studio vocals, PaJam just takes their tracks 2 another level & those are my favorite producers to work with. I personally think All In One is a album full of hit singles! I Made A Choice, Hold On, He Knows, Take Me.... I could name every track on the album! The ONLY PROBLEM with ALL IN ONE is I WANT MORE!!! lol. & now I'm also anxious 2 get new albums from Kierra & Dorinda! They were amazing on All In One as well. I voted for all of them because i'm just indecisive like that but, really--I'm loving All in One--that one for me has gained the top spot! I kinda feel guilty saying that though....
Finally Karen showed range. It showed that Karen stands her ground in studio and will give you a second to none concert performance. The worship was real at the recording and the production was right in the studio. (And the Clark Sisters had not one, but two songs on the album !!) That is why it was my favorite KCS record. (now we need a Marvin Sapp, Kim Burrell, Deitrick Haddon, CeCe Winans & Fred Hammond poll lol)
Let me tell yall somethin. I know every riff, run, and lick on that album like the back of my hand. You'd think I was a Clark Sister when I sing along with that joint. Classic!!! "Finally Karen" was her coming out album, away from the sisters. And come out she did! But what yall know about the VHS (ha!) performance tape of the album?? The sisters doing "Pure Gold"?? The extended version of "I Couldn't Tell It If I Tried?? Whoo wee!!!
Though we are tried like silver in the fire, we come out as PURE GOLD--classic
Finally Karen is my favorite, there is just a great anointing or spirit on that cd. The songs really minister to you as well. I loved every song on that cd. The new cd is nice too, but Finally Karen gets my vote.

Finally Karen was just WOW to me... like WOW.. The new cd "All in One" is different from the rest very urban.. It's cool, I really like it, mostly all of the songs I like about the same. I mean I must say All of them are good song AND great singing (I MEAN ITS KAREN!) but nothing on there really just touched my soul not even "Have your Way" JMO people don't send me viruses because I said that.
THE NEW KCS CD IS SLAMMIN-GREAT STUFF!!!-ITS A TOUGH RUN WITH FINALLY KAREN FOR MY FAVOURITE!!!!I think it is Finally Karen and #2 All for One.. i love me some KCS..only one issue with the new CD that cover did not do her justice-unfortunately it looked so fake and overtouched--I saw pics int he same outfit on her site and cd that looked so good and actually like her--I am not sure hwy they decided on that cover--that was a boo boo for sure--not sure the cover captured the vibe of the cd either..hmmm--anyway the cd is worth every penny!!
My vote was for Finally Karen..that project was like a breath of fresh...it was almost like you literally exhaled at the mere fact that she had FINALLY released her own solo project and she did not disappoint with this one..every song fit her perfectly..and I especially loved the live tracks. Donald Lawrence did an excellent job on it..

Nothing beats the Finally Karen cd, she just kills that whole cd! Her range, testimony and rifts are in full form, that cd has got me through some hard times! I LOVE HER NEW CD- ALL IN ONE! I don`t know what people are talking about, but she is singing like a fool, she is tearing it up! My fav tracks are hold on, prayed up, good, blessing and he knows. It is not the best cd, but I rated it 4/5,her range is present and the message is the same. I love the urban vibe, contemporary works for her! However I do miss the balads like It`s not over, but this cd won`t disappoint the KCS fans.
