Since we started The Prayer List a couple of weeks ago, we (as a gospel community) have gotten a lot of great feedback and participation! I’m grateful to you guys for thinking it was a good idea and for really being committed to it. Don’t get weary, family! I really believe that this is making a big difference.
This week, we’re keeping The Prayer List rolling and we’re lifting up Kierra Sheard. As you know, she’s one of the youngest vocalists in a legacy of great gospel musicians (Moss-Clark), but she’s a young woman with a unique purpose and gift for the Body of Christ. So, we’re gonna hold our sister up. Let’s goooooo…
Father, I thank You for the life and ministry of Kierra Sheard. I thank You for the rich musical heritage You have given her. I thank You for the diligence with which she has cultivated her gift, so that Your Name can be glorified by her and by those who hear her.
God, I pray that Kierra continues to experience greater levels of growth in You. I pray that as You take her to new areas– perhaps even those that she wasn’t aware she would venture into– You would give her peace and a humble confidence as she walks into them. I pray that You would give her an assurance of all that she’s been called to do, and that she would know that the God of all creation has equipped her, specifically and uniquely, to fulfill a Divine purpose.
Lord, I pray for Kierra’s surroundings– that her friends and family would pour into her and continue to be a blessing to her. I pray against anything and anyone that would drain her or cause her to become discouraged about, or uncertain of, all that You’ve made her to be. I pray that You would guide her and be her source, day-by-day and throughout her life. I pray for Your protection, Lord, over the treasure that You have invested in Kierra. In Jesus Christ’s Name, Amen.

Father, You are a mighty and an awesome God who is worthy of our praise. I thank you for Kierra Sheard, a wonderful young woman whom I've had the opportunity to watch grow into the beautiful young woman you created. I thank you for the musical gifts you've bestowed on her and I pray, Father, that she understands and uses ALL the gifts that you've given her. Bless her with insight. Bless her with wisdom and discernment. Bless her to understand her surroundings and to be sensitive to your spirit particularly your leading and directions. I pray father that you would cover her traveling, her comings and her goings and keep her safe. I pray that you would continue to let her be a blessing to many. I pray that you would bless her richly with inspiration. Let your light glow brightly through her and your peace that passes all understanding comfort her now and always. I pray Father that she comes to really understand what you meant when you said we are the salt of the earth. Help her to use this knowledge to change her surroundings and the people around her. Oh God, you are the Great I AM, the Holy One, the Prince of Peace, the Might God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I ask this in the name of your son Jesus. Always, Tim

Lord, I thank you for the transformation from girl to woman to woman of God! Since her debut to the world at 9 years of age, you have so strategically ordered her steps and the scenarios in her life. Your perfect will has caused her, at an early age, to know you, respect you, and love you in a very different way than her peers! Holding up the banner to live the Bold Right Life, she is a beacon of light and salt of the earth where no weapon formed against her would prosper. She is a refreshing new flavor of Kool-Aid, and a New Kid on the Block from the Old Skool, making her relative to the young and old! I pray that she would keep her mind on things that have virtue and praise in the name of Jesus, that she would be anxious for nothing but with prayer, supplication and thanksgiving, make her requests and the desires of her heart, known unto you. I pray that she would season her words with love when correcting and molding those you have given her leadership over. I ask that you gird her loins her in your spirit with keen wisdom, fameless power and "now time" revelation. I ask that you would preserve her gift with longevity beyond the years she has seen, paralleled in the legacy of her Grandmother, Mother and Aunts. Keep her pliable to be used in and out of the kingdom so that all may enter into your presence by the unique preaching gift you have endowed in her! Protect her ears and her heart! Bless her tongue! Ok so this is the real Kierra Sheard. Izaac emailed me to inform me of a tweet that he received with this link of the prayer for me. Whoever, posted this prayer and thought of me please know that you're greatly appreciated. this means the world to know that there's someone out there who really believes in you and out of all of the people in the world they thought of me to lift up. I sincerely appreciate each of you and the mind behind this prayer. I pray God blesses you for thinkIng of others. When we think there are only critics out there, God used you to reassure us that there is always, at least one, out there praying for us. The most simple things aren't always easy. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it... Father, first let me ask for forgiveness for any wrong doings that I may have done, any sin that I have committed knowingly, or unknownly. Please cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I offer my body as a living sacrifice unto you Lord. Please accept this humble offering. I praise and worship you Lord, because you are worth all the praise and the glory. I lift our sister in Christ Kierra Sheard up to you Lord. You made her, and you know her from the inside out. So you know what she needs Lord, I'm asking that you provide that she needs in the Name of Jesus. Let her eyes be opened to see the traps of the enemy. Let her mind me clear so that she can clearly hear from you Lord. Father protect her and her family. Shield them from all harm. Bless the ministry that you given to her. Remind her that it's all about You Father. We should constantly be looking for ways to bring people to you Lord, constantly looking for ways to minister the gospel to the lost. Father God, Thank youf for being the awesome, loving God that you are. I lift Kierra Sheard up in prayer with my other brothers and sisters in Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen Prayer is power and as Christians, we have the power to intercede in prayer for others. Sister Sheard, May God continue to bless you.
Kind and Gracious Father, I bless Your holy name simply because You are God of all, perfect and sovereign. I ask that you forgive me of the unrepentent sin in my life and help me to submit those areas to You. Together, with the GospelPundit family, I lift up Kierra Sheard to You. Help her to hold on to the promises in Your word. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up," Gal. 6:9 and "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your request known unto God. And the peace of God that passes all understanding shall guard your heart and your mind in Jesus," Philippians 4:6-7. Keep her mind, heart, and focus fixed on You and You alone. Father I thank you for Kierra and the vessel you have created her to be. Lord I loose angels to encamp round about her and to protect her as she travels to minister in song. Lord give her a heart to please you in all that she does, and we rebuke every hinderance right now in the name of Jesus that tries to distract her from Your purpose. I loose more opportunites and open doors for her ministry and that she would continue to grow in You. I speak increase in anointing and favor in Jesus name.

Before I do anything God, I just want to thank you for all you have done for me, you are merciful and faithful and I love and adore you! Jesus you are still the best thing that happpend to me! I pray that Kierra would continue to lift up the wonderful name of Jesus,she would continue to let God use her for his ministry. Lord teach her the way of holiness, let everything she do be acceptable in your sight, bind the devil on every hand and keep her near the cross! Dear Lord, I foremost would like to thank you for the blessings you have bestowed upon Kierra Sheard and for using her as a vessel to send your word through her music. I pray that you continue to work within her and that she is blessed, touched and moved by her music just as those who hear it are as well. I pray that you may take her to new heights. May Your will be done in her life and may You continue to inspire, speak and move in her life and music. The road is not easy, Lord, but Your word says that You will never forsake us or abandon us.
