In The News: Canton Jones' Father Passes

Family, let’s keep Canton Jones and his family in prayer– his father, Pastor Clarence Jones, passed yesterday.

Canton featured his father on “Fix It,” a song from his 2005 album, Love Jones.

Let’s lift them up, folks!

My heart aches for the family of Pastor Jones. I have been blessed by Canton several times at Trinity Chapel by his awesome praise and worship. May God give you and yours comfort in this sad time.

Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of all comfort: Deal graciously, we pray thee, with those who mourn, that casting every care on thee, they may know the consolation of thy love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank U Pastor Jones For Being a Blessing to Spirit Life Worship Center COGIC.

Oh My! I was just recently at a concert where Canton Jones asked for prayer for his father. I now pray that God will send his ministering angels to the Jones family to comfort them. I know they know they will be reunited by and by. My heart goes out to him, but I pray that he continues to take his ministry to the world because the message he brings is POWERFUL! Thank God for willing vessels.

Lord I know i'm late finding out but I thank you God for what you have already done for Canton and his family. As well as the oppurtunity Canton had to feature him on his last album I'm sure that the sessions were anointed. i just pray strength and wisdom to the family as they all continue their ministry and that you just wash over them with your love comfort and peace as i know you have i pray that at this moment a double portion of that you'll place on them! Thank you Lord for I know it's done ~Amen
