Ya know, this was hard for me to vote on… I kinda love all of his albums…
Which DONALD LAWRENCE album is your favorite?
The Law Of Confession, Pt. 1 - 30% (96 votes)
Finale: Act One & Two - 27% (86 votes)
Bible Stories - 20% (66 votes)
I Speak Life - 9% (31 votes)
Tri-City.com - 9% (29 votes)
Go Get Your Life Back - 4% (12 votes)
A Songwriter’s Point Of View – 1% (4 votes)
I think, right now, I’d have to agree.
The problem (if I can call it that) is that Donald Lawrence makes timeless music. So, when I go back to Bible Stories or Tri-City.com, songs like “When Sunday Comes” or “God’s Favor” are as good today as they were then. So, it’s hard for me to call something from 2009 my “favorite.” *shrugs*
I love it all. Speaking of Donald Lawrence, today’s his birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YA, sir!
Ok, folks… make sure you look on the sidebar (>>>) to vote in the next poll, which asks:
Which FRED HAMMOND album of the past 10 years has been your favorite???

I agree with you EJ! His music is timeless and it still transcends what is out there! Relevant lyrics then are relevant lyrics today! Happy Birthday Maestro Donald Lawrence!
I agree with the ratings, except, I think Go Get Your Life Back would be my least favorite. And I MAY like Tricity4.com a little better than I Speak Life. Other than that, this is pretty much how I would sum up the best of Donald Lawrence so far... I'm really interested to see what "Law of Confession II" will be like...hmmm... Happy birthday Mr. Lawrence...does he read these? lol
Wow, i am having a great birthday today, and I find out that Donald and I share the same day!! Wow, how 'bout that?!! and I still jam Bible Stories in my Ipod!
Bill Winston has done more for Donald's music than anything. When music, the word, and revelation join together, it's an atomic bomb waiting to happen. I can't wait for loc part 2!
with the exception of "The Law of Confession", these are ranked exactly as i would have done so. i really like TLOC ( don't feel like typing it again but since i typed this sentence, i really could have, huh?) but like EJ said, it's still fairly new and hasn't really resonated with me like 'Bible Stories" or "I Speak Life" i picked "The Finale" because it has a little bit from each project. "God" and "These Nails" alone are worth the price of that cd and the abbreviated version of "Personal Friend of Mine" is everything...
I have been a Donald Lawrence fan for a while but I do believe that with TLOC he took his ministry to God to another level! He has been making music forever for real for real. My number 2 was Finale. I mean I personally like pieces of each of his other albums. I was definitely surprised that GGYLB wasn't higher up. I mean Bible Stories is the business so I'm going to have to pull that one out. I'm looking forward to his next project. I'm expecting the presence.
