If you already know the deal, we’re gonna keep it moving. This week, we’re adding Bishop Hezekiah Walker to The Prayer List.
He needs no introduction, but to be clear– Bishop Walker’s always doing a lot in ministry, for which he could definitely use the prayers of his gospel community family. The Grammy-winning artist/choir leader has been recording for decades now, but he’s also an effective and well-love pastor and bishop with a heart for his flock. Let’s lift him up (any reference to his chart-topping hit single “Lift Him Up,” was purely coincidental… but cool).
God, thank You for the life and ministry of Bishop Hezekiah Walker. Thank You for the music ministry that You gave him decades ago, starting with the Love Fellowship Community Choir, and thank You for the pastoral spirit that You deposited as well. Thank You for his accomplishments and all of the areas in which he’s been able to make Your name great, because of the platforms and opportunities You’ve given him.
Thank You, Lord, for the spirit of humility and kindness that You gave Hezekiah Walker. Thank You for all that You’ve created him to be– things we’ve experienced and things that have yet to be manifested on Earth.
Father, I pray that You would bless Hezekiah Walker– that You would cover him and protect him. As he ministers in song and in word, I ask that You guide his paths and use him for Your glory. I pray that the successes he continues to experience would serve only to make Your Name great, and that he would continue to tell of Your greatness.
I pray that You would surround him with Godly men and women– people that will pray for him, hold him accountable, challenge and sharpen him. I pray that Hezekiah Walker would be surrounded by Godly counsel and that any decisions he would need to make, as the leader of a choir and of churches, he would have clarity of thought and a direct line to hear You distinctly.
I pray against any attacks on Hezekiah Walker’s health. I pray for Your complete protection over him and his family. I pray for Your continued grace, mercy and favor on his life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Cool! Live in New York was one the first gospel CD's I ever bought, lol. Father in heaven, thank you for this day that you've blessed us with. Continue to help us to become more like you. Please forgive me of my sins and receive this prayer. Lord, thank you for the ministry of Bishop Walker. Thank you for the lives You've blessed through him. I'm grateful that you gave him the gift to touch all generations so that we could sing together in unity in churches across the world. Continue to bless him and keep him. I pray that he will continue to choose you to be his anchor, his guide, his protector, his provision, and his Lord. Purify him daily so that he can hear you clearly and obey you in all that he says and does. Be with his family and his church family and thank you for their support as he ministers around the world. In Jesus name...Amen.

Father, I give you praise for another day in which to be grateful. I am grateful for all of your blessings of life, health, strength, provisions, shelter, my wife, family, friends and so many other blessings. You never cease to be faithful. You have been true to your word that says you would never leave me or forsake me. What a mighty God you are! I love and adore you. I want to thank you for Hezekiah Xzavier Walker, Jr. I thank you for the territory you have given him. I thank you because he is dedicated to the things you have given him. I pray that his callings, gifts and talents (music, pastor, et al.), creativity and anointing would be increased. I pray that he becomes even more effective in his portion of the vineyard. I pray that the communities around him and his church would FEEL and SEE YOU through the life of this man and those under his pastorship. I pray that you would reach into the innermost part of his person and touch him in the secret places. Those places he rarely if ever reveals to others, places that harbor hidden pain, disappointments, etc. let them be exposed to You and be healed and soothed by You. I pray that people enter his life who will be encouraging and helpful and that the detractors who share nothing but gossip, problems and issues exit his life now. I pray for life more abundantly, for health, for wealth and that he be satisfied with a long and peaceful life. I pray blessings of peace on his family and those others he holds dear. Thank you for everything you are doing through and for Bishop Walker. I will shout your praises always. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Tim

Father God in Heaven,before I pray for anything, I just want to thank you for your mercy, cleanse me from all unrighteous and create me a clean heart. I pray that Hezekiah Walker keeps lifting up the name of Jesus, that he would continue to be a blessing to everyone that hears his music. I pray for his health and strength, Father God if he has any doubt from his heart, or anything that is causing him to lose focus on you, remove it in the name of Jesus. Continue to use him for your service, and anoint him with your blessings from on high. All in Jesus name amen!
Dear Hevenly Father, as we come to you today, we lift up our Brother Hezekiah Walker. We ask that you shower him and his family with your blessings. Please touch everything he is doing in your name Lord. Guide him and give him strength to endure until the end. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
