One of my favorite bloggers on the known planet (and an awesome worship leader/artist) is named Carlos Whitaker.
He’s a new artist on Integrity Music and if you gift his album to someone via iTunes, you will be entered to win EVERY album from EVERY artist on Integrity Music for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.
That’s so incredible, it’s just dumb (in a good way).
Visit his blog, RagamuffinSoul.com, for full details. And bookmark his blog, while you’re at it… it’s awesome.

I do not know who this artist is...but tatoos are a sin and a direct affront to God. Why not put on a long sleeved shirt on the front of your CD cover. I don't think it is good to possibly lead young people into violating scriptures....blessings
I think we all really need to change our outlook on what being a "Christian" is about. I've never gotten any tattoos, been in church all my life (or at least the majority) and have probably found myself in worse situations than some people who "look" like they are hellbound according to our interpretation of the word. The scripture that we all think of automatically when tatoos come up (1 Corinthians 3:16-18) isn't limited to tattoos, ear piercings, or outward things that can be seen with the human eye. We can defile our temples with unhealthy diets, with hatred, with condemnation, thoughts that are ungodly etc. Christ came to let those who had a "godly appearance" know that he wasn't concerned about them looking the part, he was more concerned about their heart and making sure that it was directed towards Him and his kingdom. Does that mean that we should all go out and get tattoos, or drink and party, and do whatever we want? Not if weknow that would hurt the heart of God. And we can't be judgmental towards anyone who has done these things or will do them. God looks from the inside out.
Also, If you get the chance look up Brian Welch's testimony. He was the former leader of the heavymetal band Korn. To look at him you wouldn't think that he knows anything about Jesus, but his testimony is enough to encourage unbelievers and believers to quit looking for temporary worldly satisfaction and live sincerely for Christ. Sometimes we don't even know the story behind someones outward appearance. Be Blessed ;0)
mrssmith 1283, I totally agree with you. I totally agree!! You are absolutely right!!
wooow @Toe this is why the unsaved stay unsaved because christians are sooooo dang judgemental. mrsstmith thank yu for your post.
These posts make me proud to be your big sis! :-)
Awe thanks!!! ;0)
Nope. I am sticking to my guns. John P Kee covered up his tats in his video "Stand"...I think we still send wrong message; If he got them before he was saved, fine; but he could still cover them up...but there is a lot of stuff I got or done in my B.C. days, when I wasn't saved, that I don't show off...Furthermore, revealing such would not be entirely edifying to the body of Christ.
That's fine for you to stick to your guns. We all have to stand for something. Just remember there maybe someone who thinks they can't come into church because of their tat's. We are all different members of one great body of Christ. You may reach in one area and someone else may reach in another. God isn't limited to working in the realm of out finite understanding. I'm just saying the word doesn't give way for anyone to judge for that reason. ;0)
Theres a vid of his geting the tattoo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bREygULEOu8
