Not much excitement on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart this week… The most significant sales gains came from Hezekiah Walker, Karen Clark Sheard and Tamela Mann, but other than that, not much to report.
Here’s the full top 10 …
#1 | Marvin Sapp - Here I Am
#2 | WOW Gospel 2010
#3 | Juanita Bynum – More Passion
#4 | BeBe & CeCe Winans - Still
#5 | Hezekiah Walker & LFC – Souled Out
#6 | Karen Clark Sheard - All In One
#7 | Tamela Mann - The Master Plan
#8 | Fred Hammond – Love Unstoppable
#9 | CoCo Brother – CoCo Brother Live: Stand 2010
#10 | Brian Courtney Wilson – Just Love
It’ll be interesting to see how forever Jones, the family band behind the radio hit “He Wants It All,” fares on next week’s chart.
Anyone have that project yet???

Wow. CeCe Winans and Ashmont Hill have vanished so quickly already. Speaking of Tamela Mann and Karen Clark, they sang together on Monique's show earlier this week. It was a treat. Maybe that had something to do with the increases.
Wanna see how Karen do next week with all these BET features, Walmart ad and "so on and so forth" (that was for you EJ...LOLOLOL). Karen and her team are pulling all stops. Branding full in effect.
I listened to the "Forever Jones" album, and while I hate to pass final judgement off one listen, I have to say I wasn't impressed...To me, this album was another example of an project that has no other songs that are as strong as the radio single...If you're planning to buy it on the strength of "He Wants It All", I advise to listen to the project online before you buy. I must say however, that they do live up to their "band" moniker, displaying some great instrumentation on most songs...sometimes a recording can't catch the magic of a great live band, and that is what I suspect happened here...I will listen to it again and let you know if it grows on me...
I'm glad Kurn (monique voice)aka Karen is back up there on the top 10!!
Welcome back on the top 10 Karen!!!
the fact that Hez is still in the top ten is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased Forever Jones on the lyrical and sound quality of "He Wants it All." When I found out Tommy Sims produced the album I was even more excited to listen to the project. I have to say I LOVE the whole album. The music is not over produced and the types of songs vary. It has been in heavy rotation since I downloaded it release day, and it has been blessing me considerably. Please give it a good listen before deciding not to buy it. It is not like anything that has been produced recently which I am in favor of.
Karen needs to be up a few more registers, her cd was of the chain.
I have Forever Jones new CD, and I like it. If you are looking for another 'He Wants It All', then 'Adoration' comes close. It shows some variety of styles and overall it is a pretty strong cd. I could have used about 2 more tracks, but I see lots of potential for future releases from them.
