We’re continuing our weekly series, The Prayer List, with the addition of a legend in gospel music– Daryl Coley.
Known for his vocal acrobatics and incredible range, Daryl Coley gave us a little scare a few years ago when word of his failing health spread like wildfire. Since then, we’ve seen him progressing and doing much better. His contribution to the industry, as well as his influence on younger singers, is undeniable. Let’s hold him up in prayer.
Father, thank You for the ministry that You have given Daryl Coley. Thank You for the gifts that You gave him, to equip him for the work he would have to do on this Earth.
Lord, I pray that Your hand of preservation would be on Daryl Coley. I pray that You would sustain him. Reward his faithfulness to You with a life full of peace and joy in You.
God, any ailments and infirmities that he continues to experience, I pray that you would minimize them and give him comfort. I pray for healing.
I pray that You will continue to shape Daryl Coley, Lord. I pray that You will continue to chisel away at any areas that are not like You, and continue to make the areas that glorify You even brighter in his life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Father in the name of Jesus Bless your servant keep him close to your bossom protect him strenght him, renew the anoint with in him. GOD we know all thing are possible for those who believe and trust you. We know thy servant does and depends upon you. Bless his family give them strength as they attend to thy servant.
I prayed for him (and the entire list) this morning. I join my faith with the rest of the GP fam and I trust that God will hear and answer our prayers! Hallelujah!

Father God forgive me from all my sins, and create me a clean heart & renew me a right spirit. I pray that Daryl continues to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, through song and testimonies. Lord give him strength, I bind the devil on every hand. Give him life, he shall live and not die. I pray that whatever you have planned for him,, make it manifest through him. ALL IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

I thank God for the blessing of having Bro/Rev Daryl's ministry throughout my life -all the way back from "8th and Grove" days! through the Berkeley Summer Music Prgram, Castleers and New Generation(: I came across this page while looking for current information on his health status as he's been heavily on my mind in the past few days. I've been thinking about Daryl Coley today and I pray that he is doing well. I love his music and his ministry and I know that he is in God's hands. I was listening to his music last night and today and he has been on my heart. May God Bless You and Keep you strong.
