For anyone who doesn’t already have the individual projects that first featured these songs, this is a pretty decent line-up.  I am, however, givin’ the side-eye to the notion that Kirk Franklin’s “Imagine Me” should be listed as a choir song…

Again, it’s in stores next Tuesday, but you can pre-order now by clicking here.

Anyone thinking of grabbin’ it?  Do you guys typically buy compilation projects like this???

The song selection is wack. :( Where's Ricky Dillard & New G, James Hall & WAP, the Mississippi Mass, Larry Trotter, West Angeles, Bishop Noel Jones, Youthful Praise and countless other CHOIRS!!!! I Speak Life -Donald Lawrence featuring Donnie McClurkin??? When this become a choir song? Imagine Me?? Are you serious??? Go back to the drawing board...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Along with what's already been said, I'm wondering what's the definition of a choir: number of singers? Matching clothing/robes? What about if there's a front man (or woman) or not? Where's Natalie Wilson? Freda Battle and the Temple Worshippers with "Here Is Our Praise"? This CD would have been better if it had been a "fan-selected" CD, meaning gospel music fans could have went to the website and suggested tracks and then vote for the top 16 cuts. Plus I have most of these on the original CDs anyway so it's a no for me.

2 thumbs down. All old songs that people probably already have.

I own all of it except Faithful Central Church and Bobby Jones. Maybe if they had tried some newer songs, I would have been interested.

Most of these songs are already on other compilation cd's. And where is John P. Kee and New Life, Mississippi Mass, Georgia Mass, Kirk Franklin and the family, and so many others that are actual choirs and sing choir songs? They could've left D. Lawrence, Kirk Franklin's Imagine Me, and Bobby Jones off. 1. Kirk Franklin no longer has a choir and what choir sings Imagine Me. 2. Does D. Lawrence even have a choir anymore? And correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't I Speak Life from his solo project? 3. Bobby Jones gets a side eye just because. SMH

I don't buy compilation projects. I heard the artists dont make money off of these, not sure if that's true or not. christina- leaving charlotte to go back home tomorrow. Jpk and New life are still going strong. Pastor Kee is finishing up a lot of projects. New Life's new project is titled, "You don't know my story", coming soon. Pastor kee is recording this Saturday with VIP, church choir, New Life for a project called "Everybody else's stuff". He also has a solo project coming out in Oct. called "The Legacy Project". You can hear the single online its called "Blessings" feat Rance Allen. He's also doing 4 live videos this fall in LA, Indy,...follow him on twitter/facebook.

I agree with the top half of comments. Give the people a chance to decide for once. I don't really buy the compilation cds anymore because most of the time I already own everything or I'll just create my own on iTunes playlist.
