Everything’s pretty much business as usual in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Gospel Albums charts, with the exception of two projects that I wasn’t really expecting to be there.
One is a compilation album from Donnie McClurkin. It’s actually been on the charts for a while, but I don’t know how it managed to peek into the #10 spot. Not mad about it , though… welcome!
The other is Redemption, a new album from gospel hip-hop artist PRo (I did some googlin’), which debuted at #8. The project features guest vocals from Lecrae and others.
The rest of the rundown looks like this…
#1 | Marvin Sapp - Here I Am
#2 | WOW Gospel 2010
#3 | Trip Lee - Between Two Worlds
#4 | Fred Hammond - Love Unstoppable
#5 | BeBe & CeCe Winans – Still
#6 | Hezekiah Walker & LFC – Souled Out
#7 | Forever Jones - Get Ready
#7 | PRo – Redemption
#9| Brian Courtney Wilson - Just Love
#10 | Donnie McClurkin - Playlist: The Very Best of Donnie McClurkin

Talk to me!

I have some tracks from the album! Pro is a rapper who started off bragging a little too much and then he moved to Memphis and got discipled. He was always a really good rapper and he just grew in God! We all need growth by the way. Anyhoo, he has been smashing every guest spot that he has had lately. He was on Sho Baraka's and Trip Lee's albums. Like I have stated before, support this movement! We need the Black Church to get behind it! God really is moving in Christian Hip Hop. EJ: I say it all of the time, but I really appreciate you!!!! Blessings to you and your wife!
I can't understand why Darwin Hobb's record hasn't hit the top 10 yet. Is the label not pushing it? Is it a fault of the radio? What's the deal? It is a good record!
God job Brian Courtney Wilson! JUST LOVE still in the top ten. I think it's been there over a year!
