We’re continuing our weekly series, The Prayer List, in which we pray for one industry person each week– contributing back, through prayer, all that they give to us. This week, I’m adding the incomparable CeCe Winans to The Prayer List.
I was listening to her Throne Room album this weekend, spending some time with God, and I thought “she’s given the gospel community so much… sacrificed SO much… been pulled on SOOOOO much” because of the calling on her life, because of the anointing she carries, because of her willingness to say “yes” to all of this. Shouldn’t we go to God on her behalf, even if for just a few words, to say “God, her ministry has blessed me– can You bless her in return?”
Ok, let’s jump to it…
Lord, I thank You for ministry that You’ve given CeCe Winans. Thank You for her gifts and talents, but thank You, also, for her heart. Thank You for allowing CeCe to be a role model for so many women and young girls– to be full of virtue, beauty, humility and compassion. Thank You for the reputation that You have allowed her to have– both in the gospel/Christian music world and far, far beyond– a reputation of grace, of holiness… thank You for allowing her to walk into a room and have a Godly presence, one that has to be recognized.
Thank You for still making ambassadors like CeCe Winans.
Father, I pray that You will continue to pour into her. Allow her to delve deeper into new areas of her relationship with You. Not just for our sake– as we’ll certainly reap the benefits of greater music– but simply for CeCe’s sake, Lord. For her sake, and for Your glory, pay attention to Your daughter. Still her in areas of busyness and anxiety. Calm circumstances around her that would serve to distract her. Give her a quiet confidence, peace and clarity.
Lord, please continue to bless her marriage to Alvin Love. Thank You for providing such an awesome example of a Godly marriage– a lasting marriage. Please continue to reveal areas of greater ministry for each of them, individually and as a unit, that will bless Your people. And continue to bless their children to be great vessels for Your glory. Please honor their commitment to You by using them in great ways.
Father, where CeCe grows weary, give her strength. Where she doubts, give her confidence. As she continues to broaden the scope of her ministry, pursuing new ventures and fulfilling new dreams, please be her guide. Please make paths straight, opening doors through which she ought to walk, shutting quickly and permanently any doors that are not a part of Your plan. And bless her. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Before I ask of anything., Lord forgive me from all sins and cleanse me from all unrighteous. Lord I pray that you will continue to bless Cece Winans with wisdom, let her know that she is a blessing to anyone that listens to her angelic voice. I pray for her strength as she travels around the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, let her be a exaMple to be the unsaved that with you all things are possible. Seek thy servant and make her enemies her footstool, turn away the wicked and let Cece say yes to your every command. ALL IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
Father God first I want to ask of forgiveness for anything that I've done and the rest of the people of the world. For those who know not what they do. I pray for Cece Winans today. I pray for her strength. I pray that she continues to be a amazing woman of God. She will never know just how many people she has blessed, but God you know. Lord I thank you for birthing someone to whom I can look to for pureness. I thank you for the music that stopped me when I was going to do wrong. Only you know God... But because of your plan on CeCes's life her ministry saved me. Amen.
Father, first of all, I say THANK YOU God...THANK YOU for allowing Cece Winans to walk into the plans that you set before her even before this world was created. She has been a blessing in many ways than one. I pray that you will continue to lead her and guide her in her walk with You. Allow her to continue to get into a deep relationship with you. I pray that you will bless her and her husband, her children and her family and most of all..the ministry that you have birthed inside of her. I pray that you will give her strength, give her peace, help her to continue to live the life that's pleasing to You.
I touch and agree with EJ. I pray that blessings and peace overtake my sister for she has truly used her gift to bless countless people.
Father, I also touch and agree with EJ's prayer. Lord, thank you so much for the ministry of CeCe Winans. I thank you for her willingness to be obedient to you and by doing so, blessing SO many people throughout the world. I can certainly say that she has been such a wonderful role model and blessing to my life. Thank you for the example she is. I pray that you would give her the strength, joy, and peace that only you can give. Bless her and her entire family. And I pray that you would pour out more and more of your anointing on her so that she would be blessed and continue to be a blessing. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Daddy God, I thank you for CeCe Winans and the anointing you have placed upon her and in her that she has used so much for your Glory!! Thank you for her care and ministry to the next generation of ministry and the example of humility, purity and holiness that she has only from YOU!! She has touched not only my life but my Daughter's and many others!! May more of your grace, favor and spirit continue to touch her, keep her as well as her children, family members and husband!! Continue to bless the work of her hands and allow her to be that virtuous woman we have become to see her as!! We believe it is done by faith in the Holy One Jesus Christ our Lord, AMEN!!
Father in heaven, thank you for this beautiful day. Please forgive me of my shortcomings and I pray that you will continue to grant me grace as I strive to live the life that you've called me to live. Thank you for the blood of Jesus which makes this possible. Please continue to bless and keep Cece. Thank you for her ministry. Thank you for the example of grace and wisdom that she has been in a difficult industry. Continue to hold her in the palm of your hand and lead her in your way. Help her to grow in areas that you see fit for growth. Bless her family and protect her from hurt, harm, and danger. May her songs continue to speak of your power and love...may they continue to bless people all over the world. In Jesus' name...Amen.
Father, I pray for CeCe and lift her up to you...as she continues to minister, worship, and lead others into worship...Bless her in all her endeavors. Let her continue to be used by YOU and be her protector. Continue to strengthen her as she walks in your divine order. Bless her husband, Bro. Alvin, also, as he continues to support her and by her side. In Jesus's name. Amen.
Thank you Lord for your love. Thank you for this site and for its' call to pray. We love you Lord. Lord, thank you for blessing CeCe with the courage and strength to carry your light in this world. Lord I pray that she senses your love and strength continuously. Please give her your wisdom concerning her life and her ministry/business decisions. Keep her husband and her family. Lord, we entrust her to You, even as she has entrusted herself to you. In Jesus' Name.
