E.J Gaines; what a tribute for a moment in time! The Hawkins, the Clarks, Shirley, and the song "I'm Going Away"; all at one time...this is phenomenal. The generation of today need's to have a history of the artists that have paved the way; incredible! God Bless
I have been hearing this song in my head for the past few days and couldn't understand why. I was 11 or 12 years old when I use to listen to this song with my mother. I just decided tonight to google in "I'm Going Away" and had no idea I would hear this song in it's entirety, even more so relive that beautiful and europhic feeling I once experienced when I was a young girl listening in the kitchen on Sunday's with my mom. My mom has passed on and I feel her presence so strong with me right this moment. TEARS OF JOY are FLOWING so STRONG, however; SO PEACEFUL!!! I am so grateful tonight.
