***Rrrrruunnnssss in jumping up and down and clapping*** Yayyyy!!!!! You already know I'm getting it! :-) EJ, may I speak freely? I sorta would be ok if you (or any gospel music bloggers) didn't post anything non-Bishop Walter Hawkins related until after next week's homegoing celebrations.... In fact, I really think there should be a moratorium on any tweets about new tracks, releases, blah, blah blah, etc. I know people gotta eat, but I'm saying, the gospel music industry should sit shivah in honor of the passing of the gospel music legacy...at least a day or two.... His passing has affected me more than I expected. I sometimes have delayed reactions over things. Sigh.... Thanks. Ok... Yay again for the new Israel CD!

That is just retarted, he is not a GOD, yes he impacted the Gospel industry, but why do we as bloggers, need to not pst anything non walter hawkins related. Just plain stupid. and show how christian you are, are u more in to walter hawkins than GOD?

  • Tam Tam wrote on July 14, 2010

Whoaaaaa.... Ok... I'm gonna skip ^^^that^^^ because I don't want to smash emotions and flawed intellect like I could. I know my Lord would not be pleased if I did that. I will say that I recognize that the gospel music bloggers have been very respectful and honorable with the various tributes on their respective websites and life certainly has to move on. Hopefully sound-minded folk will see that I was having an intense moment of mourning. It had NOTHING to do with idolizing anyone or making them a demi-god. I suppose that if I were to ever start my own blog, I could do what I want to do, right? Right.... So hopefully we're all clear, for the good of the order. Amen.

Will be picking up the CD as soon as it drops. Israel's music always blesses. Saw Israel & New Breed in concert last month (awesome worship experience), and he previewed one of the songs from the upcoming album - Hosanna - simple but powerful!

I love Israel's music but I'll have to preview before I buy. Tam Tam I feel were you're coming from his death hit me hard as well because I had no idea he was sick, but Ej and other sites have a job to do and they all have done a wonderful job in honoring Bishop Hawkins, but we have to move forward I'm sure that's how the Hawkins family and Bishop Bawkins would want it.

Israel is proving to make an indeliable mark in the gospel music industry. This next effort sounds as if he is solidfying "beyond forward". I like that his songs are so classic and appeal to every demographic. I will definitely be getting this one.

You knew you didnt have to ask who/ if we were buying it EJ! !! C'mon NAH! Lol! I believe that Israel always sings songs that we can all co-sign. Definitely a worshipper's project that I'll buy each time he offers a new one!

  • @artbyallison wrote on July 16, 2010

okay so I LOVE Isreal, honestly, I have mixed feelings about the ' 'beatles' ?tribute re: the cover, given how "anit God they were' but i refrain from being "religious" knowing isreal's mad cool, so I guess it's like takin it back from the devil cuz they recorded in Abbey Road, so I'm DEF lookin forward to it!

  • Hannah-Mak wrote on July 16, 2010

I wished Isreal did his research before paying homage to the Beatles who were deeply involved in the occult.

  • Jill wrote on July 16, 2010

AWESOME!!! Israel Houghton has some of the greatest P & W songs. He never lets me down and I'm sure this album will be just as great!

  • FunkPunc wrote on July 16, 2010

I've heard 8 of the songs from the album and can assure you that this is definitely a different album than what Iz has given us before, and that there is something on it for everyone. I'll leave the reviews for when it comes out, but I'll definitely be buying my copy on 8/31!

  • Kwartema wrote on July 16, 2010

I'm with Christine I'ma have to preview the album 1st cos I didnt like his last solo effort.... I much rather prefer him with New Breed ...

I will pick it up. London, Abby Road, I get it! .I like the cover, it's simple, not like some of the covers I've seen lately...ugh!!

I'm definitely going to pick up Israel's new project! Actually, I'm going to check and see if I can pre-order it! He's been such an inspiration and encouragement to my life & ministry as a worship leader. He's surely one artist that I can say I've yet to be disappointed by any of his albums. And I'm definitely looking forward to what more he has in store for us listeners.
