Anyone planning to attend???

My sister is going--but then again we're from Oakland.
Do you know if any of the services will be televised or on the internet? It would be a shame for all the world not to be able to witness such a wonderful tribute to the Bishop. Most of us can't be there and I'm sure we would love to see this Musical and/or the actual Homegoing Service. If they can do it for Michael Jackson then why not for Bishop Hawkins? IDK I'm just sayin....
Ruth I was wondering the same thing. They had MJ tributes on almost every station even the Word Network aired his tribute so I hope they do the same for Walter Hawkins.
It would be most wonderful if we could access both services online. If anyone has any influence to make this happen, please, please do so.
I hope they do put the funeral and musical online or on tv or even both.
I've gone to the Love Center church website and there is a place to email the media person in charge, I've emailed that person about the media coverage. I'm praying he actually reads it and tries to do what we are requesting. Let's pray they can do this... EJ, can you see what you can do to put this information out to whomever can help get the events televised or something...use your magic!! LOL Be Blessed!!
What an awesome man of God who will truly be missed in the Gospel Music World, may God forever comfort his family. I pray that his family continue to keep his memory alive in songs and inspiration.I love his music for many years and will continue to listen to it always. GOD BLESS. LAHOMA
Mr. Bill Carpenter responded and told me to keep looking on the Love Center website for updates about the events being televised.
According to the Oakland Tribune, all 2000 tickets are gone for the service and the musical.
Hopefully They will Have it on Line..He Will Be Missed!!!
