Random: Where are Charles & Taylor?

I did a Where YOU Been? on Charles & Taylor over a year ago and I heard that new music was coming.

I haven’t seen it or heard it YET. :-(

I guess I’ll wait, and STILL rock to “Still Gonna Pray” in the meantime. Love it.

I loved this group! One of my favs as a radio announcer to give hot tracks with amazing lyrics to change the atmosphere of any broadcast. I'd really like to hear from them again. CHARLES AND TAYLOR PLEASE COME BACK!!!!!!! lol

That is an excellent question! I hope they are working on another project.

They performed in my hometown last December for a local gospel awards program and did an INCREDIBLE job. Talk about creating an atmosphere of worship!!!!!! At the time, they didn't mention their upcoming album, nor sing songs that reflected such. But they looked great--all grown up now--and they really allowed God to use them. I have to confess......I thought Toni Rackard's "You Pulled Me Through" was Charles & Taylor at first, and I got VERY excited when I heard it on the radio...LOL Oh well, I pray that God blesses them and allows them to bless us through their music--SOON. :-)

Takes me back to a simpler time. Gosh "gospel" music sure has change in less than 5-10 years. Not too long ago "gospel" music was a force to be reckoned with. Now it's something that BET shows on TV sparingly (like a red-headed step child) and Non-gospel artist go to in order to appease some "church upbringing" guilt they've had. I honestly thought Charles and Taylor were going to be the next big thing, wonder if they got mixed up in the shuffle and dis-organized chaos of what is the "gospel" industry.
