We’re keeping our weekly series, The Prayer List, moving with our latest addition– Israel Houghton.
We ALL know Israel’s music and ministry, and we have been beneficiaries of all that the Lord has done in, with and through him. As such, let’s reciprocate that blessing and lift him up in prayer.
Lord, I am grateful for the music ministry of Israel Houghton. Thank You for who You created him to be, all of the gifts You’ve invested in him and all of the opportunities You’ve created for him, for Your glory.
Father, I pray that You will continue to prepare Israel right now. Prepare him for the things that are about to come in his life– both good and bad. Prepare him, spiritually– so that he can be nourished by Your Word (which will be his anchor) and that it will be a firm foundation for him when tests come. Prepare him, Lord, for the areas that You’re planning to take him. Help him, in the midst of busy schedules and fast-paced moves, to be at peace and to find rest in You.
Father, bless Israel’s family to be a great support system for him. Protect them so that, even as he travels and ministers, they are covered by You.
God, chisel away at Israel’s heart, so that the music that he sings and the message that he shares would be Spirit-led and God-glorifying, for the edification of Your Body. Continue to drench him melodies that You give, lyrics that You pen and ideas that You have designed. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Lord I thank you for the relationship you have with Israel Houghton. I pray You will continue to give him an ear to hear You and he continue to allow You to minister to his people through him. Protect Israel from all dangers Lord as you send him where you desire him to go. I pray you continue to provide for him in every need and want he has Lord. Keep him and his family, strenghten his wife so she can continue to support him in every way. I pray their marriage be bound together in Christ and grow stronger in Him. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Lord before I ask of anything, forgive all iniquities and mode me in your image everyday. I pray that Israel would continue to spread the word of God through song and testimonies. I pray that you woulds strengthen his marriage and his ministry. For we know without you we are nothing, but with you all things are possible. Touch his body and heal any sickness or anything that is conflicting his purpose to do the will of God. anoint him forever more, you said in your word that you are the lord that healeth thee. ALL IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
I totally concure with all the prayers given! Continue to bless Israel, his family, & the entire New Breed crew. Especially as they prepare for their Deeper Level Conference coming up. In JESUS name amen!
Father I pray Israel's continued growth and excellence in all that you've called him to do. I pray that he be blessed coming and going. Bless him, his family and those that labor with him in the ministry with good health, protection and traveling mercies. You are worthy to be praised and when we think of your love for us we are compelled to worship you. Let ALL of our worship be a reflection and response to the love you have shown us. Thank you for your all you've done to bring us back into fellowship/relationship with you. We seek what you seek and what you originally intended for us to experience in Eden.
Holy Father, forgive me, cleanse me, and fill me with your Spirit daily. Please continue to bless Israel, his ministry, and his family. Keep his eyes, heart, and motives fixed on you. Give him all that he needs for the journey you have set before him. In Jesus precious name...Amen.
