Ya Heard?: Umm… This New Beverly Crawford Single Is The BIZNESS

Remember yesterday, how I said that I had Beverly Crawford’s new CD (due in stores on September 14), but hadn’t listened?  And remember how I said I’d let you know what I thought?  And remember how I said I love how she tears a vamp to shreds?

Umm… YEAH!

I listened this morning and got soooo excited about the single that I made sure I got the ‘ok’ to stream it for you guys this afternoon.

The single is called “It’s About Time For A Miracle” and it’s great.  From the vocals to the band, this song is RIPE for your Sunday morning service.

And lemme know what you think!

Hey Vincent....my comment wasnt an indictment on the song the artist nor the ministry of Beverley ... I know she is the real deal and lyrically her music is biblically sound. Its just the style of the music I said I dont enjoy much...same applies to how I feel about Albertina Walker, Shirley Caeser and a few others... I KNOW beyond a shadow of doubt that they're all true ministers but its that particular music style that I cant get into so please its nothing about her at all Hope I clarified things a bit

Heard her sing this at Bobby Jones taping earlier this month, and again at my church's Convocation last week. LOVED IT!!

well...i love it for her. well produced trak. tho its very formulaic & lyrically simplistic... it works. and it will def go hard in churches.

It is soOO the bomb! My head was all over the place like a Sesame Street puppet...SMILE! *I will never get over these up tempo gospel songs with a great lead soloist. I'm glad this was added to the player. My Mom had a DVD of her guest appearance on Patrick Love's recording. We watched that over and over again. She was on point with "Have a Talk with Jesus!"

Yes sir! Let the praise parties continue. Stomp on the devil. Shake the devil off.

The moment I heard the intro, I was POSITIVE this would be another one on my shout playlist along with "Hallelujah" and "Call Him Jesus....YESSSS! Beverly goes in HARD!

  • @TheMerelyHuman wrote on August 30, 2010

There's just one thing with churchy music that I need. Background vocalists on this track are good, but for my shout music I need a fuller, older, wiser sound in the BGVs. Gimme some deeper vibrato, PLEASE!

Um yeah EJ you are right! She ripped the song apart like only she can and the band was hot. Beverly is just amazing, I love the song. I think this will be a radio favorite. Can you give me review of the cd?
