The nominees for the 2010 Soul Train Awards were announced today.  Nods in the gospel category, “Best Gospel Performance, Male Female or Group” go to:

The show, hosted again by Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, takes place on November 10, but won’t air until November 28 at 9pm ET/PT on BET and Centric networks.

    Wow...pleasantly surprised to see Youthful Praise get a nod. I think Marvin Sapp has this in the bag, lol. Congrats to all!

    So what's the criteria for nominations? I believe three of the five released albums in 2010, yes?Please correct me if I'm wrong. No expectations, no dissapointments per this award show and this category.

    I think Marbin Sapp will win in whatever categories he's nominated in I don't know abut the others.

    Youthful Praise feat. J.J. Hairston, congrats on the amazing and surprising nomination. I'm going to play your cd today because I need an upbeat number. Tye Tribbett nominated hmmmmmm, side eye goes to BET. I love Tye but for what cd? Also Lisa Page Brooks Thank You has grown on me and I am thankful. Congrats to all of the folk.
