J Moss Shares New Song– “Strong Enough”

J Moss and the dudes at PAJAM have been hinting at J’s new album for a couple of months now and anticipation is building.

Last night, J shared a new song via Twitter, called “Strong Enough.”  It’s a tight urban gospel track, with a singable hook and unparalleled vocals (of course) from J Moss.

Lyrically, J taps into the heart of believers– “I’m tired of living like my faith ain’t strong enough… I’m tired of living like I’m scared of what’s coming ’round the corner… tired of living weak when I know that I’m stronger…”

Check it out–

i really liked that! i wish the auto-tune wasn't there, but its used okay i suppose, i think JMoss sounds great without it...but cool song!

I really like J, but the auto-tune is nerve-wrecking. Love the track, but the auto-tune is overused and unnecessary.

Song is hot! It's fresh. Autotune is not overused! Gospel fans have been asking for something different & here it is. Everyone in urban music is using some form of autotune. I can also tell u that some of those leads ppl think is autotuned, it's PURE J. MOSS! Haha. Much Love J! Keep it up!

Pretty good...Jmoss uses too much auto tune. I love Karen Clark Sheard cd All In One, but the auto tune on the jmoss produced is a bit much. KCS and Jmoss vocals stand on their own.

I loved the song and normally I'm not a fan autotunes but it didn't sound bad on the song.

Not regressing.... progressing... Gospel lovers have begged for fresh music, something new... Here it is!!! Urban Gospel Music. We need this type of music to reach these young people who won't listen to what WE know to be gospel music. Keep It Up J!

I'm definitely feeling your statement. A dose here and there is fine, but it's always used in excess. @Kiaree, J Moss CLEARLY uses auto-tune on his lead and bgvs. and I don't think it has anything to do with being progressive or appealing to a younger demo when they complain about the use of auto-tune as well. J Moss will auto-tune the lyrics if that were possible.

J moss does it again, he is so talented.

Not much autotune, at all. J just has a unique voice, and where some may think it's autotune, it's him. But anyway, enough of entertaining the critics..... The message is very relative and relevant. The production is great and different. Not a copy or clone of any other artist. Very original, which makes him and PAJAM stand out. LOVE IT!!!

Just had my first listen...and I actually think the effects were tasteful...not overdone at all. I loved the last CD and this track has sold me on the one coming. Very nice...

Wow! Has many listeners become so professional when listening to music that they can tell when someone is using auto tune or not? My first instinct was to hear the message in the song on whether I could relate. Then I heard the sound of the music and liked it very much. I've heard other songs by J Moss and like his voice period. I don't know if he uses auto tune in all of his songs or not, and I don't think it really matters to real fans on what he uses to get the message out. J Moss keep doing what you do!

Big fan since day 1. I'm really feelin this track. He's very creative. I think he's a great writer and love the autotune. You gotta change it up sometime. Its not distracting at all. I just want him to stop doing background vocals on 21:03s album. No complaints! Keep it comin!
