I’ve Got Kim Burrell’s New Album… Listen To The Single!

Guess who’s got the new album from Kim Burrell??? :-)

I won’t rub it in, cuz The Love Album won’t be in stores until May 17th. BUT, I will add her new single, “Sweeter,” to the Pundit Player– that little black bar at the bottom of your screen (if you don’t see it as the first track, you probably need to empty your browser’s cache and cookies… Google that! Lol).

And, I’ll give you the track listing:

1. Let’s Make It To Love
2. Sweeter
3. Love So Pure
4. Love’s Holiday
5. Open Up the Door
6. Is This the Way It Goes
7. Just A Lil’ More Time
8. Jesus Is A Love Song
9. Love Me In A Special Way
10. Pray for Love

Before hearing anything, I was particularly eager to hear her remakes of “Love Me In A Special Way,” the DeBarge classic that has ALWAYS had a gospel vibe to it, “Jesus Is A Love Song,” her cover of the Clark Sisters’ tune, and Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Love’s Holiday.”  No disappointments!

Save your money now. This project is a need-to-grab, folks. For those of you looking for a nod to her Everlasting Life album– I gotta say that this one might be it…

I like it . As an artist in a similar genre I am sothankful for her, without her people doing Jazz or Neo-Soul wouldnt stand a chance

I feel some kind of weird and crazy and like I'm gonna lose my mind....I have been waiting for "this kind" of a release from Pastor Burrell since Everlasting Life! Her last project was good but this mix of Jazz/RnB is it for me! The last project was very sweet and worshipful and took me into the presence of God many a day and night, but I needed this bouncy Kim to add to my collection. I feel like running outside and screaming to the top of my lungs. (I'm not idolizing Pastor Burrell, but she is like Andre Crouch and the Hawkins for Donnie and that generation) Yall know yall couldn't wait for a Hawkins release or a Andre Crouch or The Winans release back in the day. I feel the same about Kim and Kirk and Karen. It is what it is. Be blessed and PLEASE support Pastor Kim Burrell's new project out on May 17, 2011!!!!!

Just got a chance to listen to the whole project. It's easy on the ear. I enjoy her focus and her intentionality in the studio. She's clearly exploring new sounds.... especially "Just a Lil' More Time." Feels GOOD!
