Wow! I am shocked to see that Marvin Sapp's Here I am is back in the top ten as well. That's great news for him as well. Congrats to Mary Mary and Kirk for there rankings on the Billboard 200 too! That is awesome.

Mary Mary's new CD really sucks. I definitely don't like the direction they've taken with their "ministry." Too many gimmicks, trying too hard ... it's just too much of nothing. I'm glad to see they didn't top Kirk Franklin ... plus Kirk Franklin's first week of sales for his new album doubled Mary Mary's. Girls, please go back to the cross and stop trying so hard to be relevant to the world.

I was surprised to see Mary Mary behind Kirk's 2nd week in sales. They still did well but it seemed like Mary Mary had the upper-hand in album promotion compared to Kirk. I'll be looking to see how Twinkie Clark fares on next week's charts.

Hi! I'm Gospel fan from Japan.I just saw the Billboard website and found that No.4. is Smokie Norful's new project. Is that so?

@ Kim and @ Wayne - my thoughts exactly....was also surprised that inspite of all the heavy duty promo they had, kirks second week sales surpassed their first wk sales......and tho ranking at ten is a good chart position they've debutted lower than their last cd and also in terms of units sold. Having said that i hear their tour has been really good and a blessing. ..

K franklin's new album is great! i love "The Altar". he was on TBN with Tamela Mann last week....dont even get me started on Tamela Mann! That lady is anointed! she just doesnt "sing" or "perform" ...SHE MINISTERS!!! William Mcdowells cd is awesome!! I'm thinking about getting Israel's new album and looking forward to getting Daniel Johnson (lead singer of NEW BREED). Vashawn and Marvin Sapp's albums are beautiful as well!
