Take A Listen To Kierra Sheard’s New Single– “You Are”!

Kierra Sheard is back with her newest single– “You Are”– from her upcoming album, Free (in stores October 18)!

“You Are” is a high-energy praise & worship track with progressive instrumentation and production. In short: it’s reminiscent of your average Sunday morning praise ditty, but it goes much MUCH harder!

I’ve personally always been perfectly content with Kierra’s urban gospel style, but I can’t deny that she’s so gifted that she doesn’t– not even for a minute– seem out of place backed by her vibrant BRL Choir on this churchy tune.  Her vocal performance is strong and confident.

For your listening pleasure (and to entice you to call your local radio stations to request it NOW), I’ve added it to the Pundit Player on the toolbar below.

Take a listen and ENJOY!

I've been waiting on this Kierra to come out. This might be the Kierra cd that does very well on the charts and have long staying potential. All youth groups need to invest in this song and teach it for its lyrical content and instrumentation.

I actually like this one! Great concept for a praise and worship song with meaningful lyrical content, and music. It's a blessing to witness gifted, and talented psalmist growing & maturing fully into their music ministry. universal faith based appeal 100% !

Why it sound like Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel".?....Maybe its just me... I like her better doing urban gospel. Not to many are sticking with that format, but jumping on Praise & Worship because its what everybody else in Gospel is doing (SMH, In Gospel a style of music catches on and it takes them decades to find another, I AIN'T LIEING! lol)

That whirling sound you hear is "Mattie Moss Clark" spinning in her grave. Great production, weak song. "Teaspoon Deep In A Bucket World ".

I do hear the Michael Jackson vibe in the beginning. I also hear what sounds like the 'Hallelujah' part at the end of Tye Tribbett's "Hallelujah to Your Name". This is one of the CDs I'm truly looking forward to. I just wish it were coming out sooner, but I'll be patient, lol.

Just my opinion but you can tell by any live performance by KiKi that Praise & Worship is who she is! So i'm not surprised by this track at all! I love her urban sound but don't limit her to that!
