Amber Bullock, the most recent winner of BET’s Sunday Best, will release her debut album, an EP titled Thank You, on December 6, 2011.
The project, produced by Eric Dawkins, will feature studio recordings of the songs that she performed on Sunday Best.
The first single is the title track, her remake of the Walter Hawkins classic “Thank You.” Also, expect to see Kurt Carr’s “For Every Mountain,” J. Moss’ “We Must Praise,” Dorinda Clark Cole’s “If It Had Not Been For the Lord,” Chris Tomlin’s “How Great Is Our God,” the Negro spiritual “A City Called Heaven,” and Karen Clark Sheard’s “Secret Place.”
Don’t forget– Amber is also joining Kirk Franklin’s Fearless Tour as special guest artist. She’ll have her own 15-minute set and be featured with Kirk. Click here for more info on the tour.

An EP of the Sunday Best songs?!
I want some new music from Amber.
But, I cannot lie– it makes great business sense. Music World Gospel has got a Sunday Best business model going. Cookie-cutter? Yes. Successful? Double yes. Just look at Le’Andria Johnson’s sales…
You buying it???

I'm glad they are not waiting as long as the past to get material out from these contestants. You gotta strike while you're hot and keep your name out there after the show is over. I think this will be able to tide people over until she releases her real project. I admit that LeAndria's success surprised me, I hope she'll be able to carry over similar success when she releases her actual debut. Something tells me that they weren't expecting that EP to do as well as it's done.
Probably not!!!! I don't want to hear what she sang on Sunday Best.......... We need originals!!!!
Yall should check her out on the St. Louis Area Fellowship Album with Oscar Williams entitled "Take None For Me (All To Thee)" its on the studio disc of the double CD...It's amazing!
I'm a Sundays Best Semi- Finalist from los Angeles. I made the Semi-Finals the same year Crystal Aiken won. I haven't watched the season that much over the years but I know about Leandria, and Amber. Both are very gifted but I must agree with some of you. I would like to hear original songs by the artist who are winners. The songs that they sing on Sundays best should be on a Sundays best complilation featuring the songs from the show. I purchased Leandrias cd and was amazed that there were only 7 songs some were songs from Sundays best. I needed more of Leandria. I hope that Leandria's and Ambers next albums Give us the whole heart and soul of them as artists through their writings and others who will be assigned to write for them. Will do, I love the youtube video of her singing "I love the Lord". I didn't realize that was her singing on that video until after the show was over.
I would like to hear some of the songs from the show but not all of them. The cd should include songs that were performed very well like "A city called heaven", "For every Mountain" and the duet "Moving Foward". Those were stand outs to me. I really wanted Jessica Reedy to include her re-make of Kirk Franklin's "Brighter Days" on her project.
