Nikki Ross has postponed her highly anticipated live recording event, which was set to take place on January 20th in her hometown of Houston, TX. No more details have been made available as of now.
The guest vocalist extraordinaire, known most recently for her BGVs with Kirk Franklin, is featured on James Fortune’s upcoming project, Identity, singing the fool out of a track called “Make A Sound.”

I can’t believe that this amazing recording has been canceled. I scheduled an airplane flight to Texas for the entire Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, starting, for me, on January 16th, 2012. I’m still going to Texas, because I’ve already paid for the ticket! I am absolutely upset about this recording being canceled, but, I’ve pre-ordered James Fortune’s forthcoming CD, “Identity”, and, after listening to the 30 second snippet of “Make a Sound”, all I can say is, when Nikki Ross does go forth with her debut CD, God’s presence is going to be evident in her singing, because, Nikki Ross is a singer who wants to glorify God in all of her songs! Psalm 146:1-2 (ESV BIBLE) “Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.”
Wow! Yeah I was a little excited for Nikki even though I wasn't able to attend. Hopefully I can get a plane ticket to go once the new date is released.
