From the first moment I heard new music from James Fortune’s latest project, Identity, I couldn’t take “Hold On” off of repeat.
On the album version, Monica and Fred Hammond provide guest vocals. It’s hot.
On this live, in-studio performance vid from Fortune and FIYA, his wife, Cheryl, takes lead. And it’s hot, too.
I’m absolutely partial to this song. Biased. Infatuated with it, even. So I’m posting it.

I’m excited about their new project, One, which hits stores on March 27th (Shanachie). Their lead single is the title track (it’s already streaming on the Pundit Player), but they’ve also just finish taping their music video for it!

It’s been a minute since we’ve gotten a video from Yolanda Adams.
This one is for “Be Still,” one of the singles from her independently released 2011 album Becoming.
The vid features a busy busy Adams, running from private jet to hotel, from make-up to meetings, from press to fashion shows and finally to mommyhood. And in the midst of it all, a call to ‘be still’ and trust God.
The concept is cool, the lighting and production is top-notch. Check it out–

James Fortune’s new project, Identity, hits stores on January 17, 2012. I may or may not have heard some REALLY great things about it. 
He just released an in-studio video of the album’s opening track, “Never Again.” It’s pretty tight and you’re gonna wanna check it out.
By the way, he’s singin’ on it. And he ain’t shabby!
Check out the new video from the Nevels Sisters for their single, “He’s A A A Able,” featuring Lecrae and new group PK.
The tune is catchy, the video is well done– heavy on the effects, but not cheap ones. And that’s a good thing for gospel.
