In order for this site to continue to operate in a way that pleases and glorifies God, we’ve all got to abide by some house rules.  We’ve got to balance our desire to be heard with our duty to encourage and uplift one another.   The right to voice our opinions and beliefs always plays second fiddle to God’s Kingdom being established on Earth.

In light of that, check out these simple (but strictly enforced) rules:

· Be respectful.  We can disagree with one another without personally attacking or insulting each other.  And on this site, we’ll have to.  But, on the flip side…

· Be realistic.  Don’t say “well… they persecuted Christ, too” just because someone disagrees with you.  Maybe you’re wrong.  Or maybe you’re right.  Either way, don’t get to pleading the blood all over the comment pages.

· Be easy.  Once you’ve made your point, you’re good.  Comment threads that I deem, in my own discretion, to be unnecessarily quarrelsome will be closed, and the combative culprits may be banned from the site.  If you can’t represent Christ on your own, I’ll represent him for you.

· Be clean.  I can’t monitor your conversations elsewhere, and even the holiest of rollers I’ve met let one or two slip from time to time.  But on gospelpundit.com, you’ve gotta reign in any profanity and/or obscenity.  Re-read your comments before you post ‘em.

· Be open.  I can’t really enforce this one; it’s a suggestion.  Folks will come to this site having experienced a ton of things.  Don’t be so close-minded that you can’t hear their opinions (especially when you’ve never gone through it).  Listen… you might learn something.

Of course, I reserve the right to edit and/or delete comments to ensure that all comments meet the requirements of the above-noted rules.  And if you are a repeat offender, unable to control yourself, you will be controlled by the prowess of my privacy controls and shall be banned from our fun little site.  Really.
