Earnest Pugh Gears Up For June 28 ‘Earnestly Yours’ Release

From the tone of his tweets to the increasing airplay of his new single, “I Need Your Glory,” I think Earnest Pugh is just about ready for the release of his new album, Earnestly Yours on June 28, 2011.

The 12-track album, produced by Michael Bereal, features special appearances by Beverly Crawford (“For My Good”) and Lisa Knowles of the Brown Sisters (“He Already Knows”).

Also, if you’re in the DC-area on Monday, June 27th, make sure you hit up his CD release/listening party, hosted by DC’s Praise 104.1FM, at 7:00pm at The Atrium at the Treetops (8181 Professional Place, Suite 200, Hyattsville, MD 20785). Doors open at 6pm. It’s a FREE event, which will include a red carpet, a mix & mingle reception and a concert featuring Pugh and special guests. And, of course, you can grab your autographed copy of the new project that night!

On TV: Rance Allen Group On Bobby Jones Gospel

Make sure you tune in to BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel this Sunday, January 24th at 9am ET, to catch the legendary Rance Allen Group, The Whispers and The Brown Sisters.

You can bet on Rance Allen showin’ out and I’m kinda interested in seeing The Whispers perform a gospel cut.  The Brown Sisters have been getting a lot of indie buzz since their debut project, Live In Chicago, was released last year… it’ll be good for the nation to see them in action.

Admittedly, I’m not EAGER for this episode, but I am curious.  Who’s tuning in???
