A couple of weeks ago, Mary Mary showed some scenes from their new music video on Good Morning America.  Now, the full music video for their hit single “Survive,” has premiered on Essence.com!

I like the video a lot– I love that the message of being a survivor is interwoven with footage from the American Red Cross on the scene helping those affected by the tornado disasters this year.  I love the simplicity of it– the black & white, the lighting effects.  And I love how classic they look.  Great vid.

As you know, Mary Mary was featured on Good Morning America this morning.  Beyond showing a bit of the video for their new single, “Survive,” and discussing their partnership with the American Red Cross, Erica Campbell made a big announcement– she’s PREGNANT!

This will be Erica’s 3rd child with husband (and super producer) Warryn Campbell.

Congratulations to Erica and Warryn on their new baby!

A quick heads-up, folks.  The two-time Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir will be performing live on Good Morning America this Thursday, July 16th, 7am ET.  Their newest musical offering, Live At The Nelson Mandela Theater, is a CD/DVD project and is in stores NOW.

I know nothing about their music, nor do I own any of their CDs.  BUT, I’ve heard a lot about ‘em.  I’m gonna check ‘em out on Thursday cuz I wanna broaden my horizons…
