In Stores: Soul Seekers, David & Tamela Mann and Micah Stampley

Some good new projects hit stores TODAY and I wanna make sure you guys are aware, so you can grab ‘em if you wanna–

1.  Soul Seekers II, from Soul Seekers
This highly-anticipated sophomore album from today’s modern-day quartet group features some of the greatest musicians in the music biz. That, alone, could make you wanna buy it. The fact that their lead single, “It’s All God,” features Pastor Marvin L. Winans is icing on the cake.

2. Bishop Morton Celebrates 25 Years of Music: A Live Celebration, from Various Artists (Light Records)
This CD/DVD project features musical tributes to Bishop Paul Morton from some of the greatest vocalists in the gospel community, including CeCe Winans, Shirley Caesar, Mary Mary, Sheri Jones-Moffett, PJ Morton, The Williams Brothers and more. It’s a must-have for your gospel music collection.

3. The Master Plan (Special Edition), from David & Tamela Mann
This jumbo pack of Mann family goodness includes Tamela’s latest CD, The Master Plan, David’s Mr. Brown’s Good Ol’ Time Church CD, footage from a “Cooking with The Manns” television special, as well as interviews and music videos.  The couple is so gifted– great power couple, plenty of products.  Grab it!

4.  Release Me, from Micah Stampley
This 7-song EP is Micah’s first release on the recently reformed Music World Gospel label headed by Matthew Knowles.  It features a dope song, “Heaven on Earth” (originally by David & Nicole Binion) that you simply have to hear.

What are y’all gettin’???

In Stores: Donald Lawrence & Co.’s “YRM” at iTunes

By now, you have to have heard Donald Lawrence’s new single, “YRM (Your Righteous Mind)”, featuring Dorinda Clark Cole.

True to form, Donald Lawrence demonstrates the power of the Word of God put to music, while offering unparalleled songwriting and production (vocals and band).

And it doesn’t hurt AT ALL that Dorinda Clark Cole clobbers the ad libs!

Anyway, the single is available on iTunes NOW.

Who’s grabbin’ it???

In Stores: Brian Courtney Wilson’s JUST LOVE Deluxe Edition Coming!

Brian Courtney Wilson.

You kinda can’t help but to love this guy.  He’s got a great voice and he’s a genuinely good dude.

This coming Tuesday, October 5th, he’s releasing the deluxe edition of his chart-topping project, Just Love.  It’ll feature the hits that radio has been playing– “All I Need,”  ”Already Here,” and “Just Love.”

But it’ll also feature some new music– “The Word,” “The Only Way,” “Awesome God,” and the full-length version of “Monday’s Pain.”  Plus, you’ll get 40 minutes of exclusive live performance footage.

Anyone planning to grab it???

In Stores: Lecrae’s REHAB

Just a quick heads-up that you’ll probably wanna check out Rehab, the new project from Lecrae, which hits stores today.  The album features guest spots from Trip Lee, Sho Baraka, Sonny Sandoval and Anthony Evans, and can be purchased by clicking right here.

Lecrae has also launched an accompanying site for Rehab, demonstrating that the release is about more than just the music– it’s a movement.  Using the catchphrase “Enter Rehab” and “Check In,” Lecrae declares that “we need restoration, healing, and rehabilitation back to that original state of unity with God.  Jesus is our rehabilitation.  The Christian life is an entrance into rehab.”  It’s a dope site, too– check it out at http://www.therehabsquad.com.

I have a strong feeling that it will debut at very high on the gospel charts next week (possibly even at #1). Just a hunch because he tends to chart VERY high– and he’s probably one of the most popular gospel hip-hop artists, even beyond the hip-hop community.

Anyone planning to get it? Anybody already GOT it?

Lemme know!

Anyone thinking of grabbin’ it?  Do you guys typically buy compilation projects like this???

In Stores: Isaac Carree's "Simply Redeemed" At iTunes

And you know what THAT means… it’s comin’ off the PunditPlayer! :-)

I’m not trying to be mean, nor do I EVER want to deprive of you of dope streaming audio, but I DO want to make sure that we, as a community, don’t become so accustomed to free listens that we think we’re entitled to free music all our days.

So, if you like it, please support it.  Cool?
