Ya heard Joe Pace’s “And We Are Glad” yet?
I love it. It’s just a dope choir song, RIPE AND READY for your Sunday morning worship services.
The tune is on Joe Pace’s latest album, Praise for the Sanctuary, which hit stores last week and features guest spots from Isaac Carree, Crystal Aikin, Tonya Baker and more. Click here to check it out
and to buy it.
Peep the live video (ignore the mysterious overdubs on the vamp– it’s spooked me at first, but I’m over it now):

By now, you MUST have heard “I Choose To Worship” by Wess Morgan. The tune has been climbing the radio charts and he’s been seen a bit of everywhere performing it.
It’s featured on his upcoming project, Under An Open Heaven, which hits stores this coming Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
In case you haven’t heard it, click the button below to take a listen.

Are you folks already familiar with Wess? What do you think of the tune???
Have y’all heard 2009′s Sunday Best runner-up Jessica Reedy on the new album from Faith Evans? She’s featured on Faith’s tune, “Troubled World,” along with powerhouse vocalist Kelly Price.
Jessica Reedy opens the song with her signature contralto, smooth tone and agility. In my opinion, she holds her own with Evans and Price, whom I consider to have two of the greatest voices in the current music landscape. Not a small task! Kudos to ya, Jessica!

Remember yesterday, how I said that I had Beverly Crawford’s new CD (due in stores on September 14), but hadn’t listened? And remember how I said I’d let you know what I thought? And remember how I said I love how she tears a vamp to shreds?
Umm… YEAH!
I listened this morning and got soooo excited about the single that I made sure I got the ‘ok’ to stream it for you guys this afternoon.
The single is called “It’s About Time For A Miracle” and it’s great. From the vocals to the band, this song is RIPE for your Sunday morning service.
And lemme know what you think!
I got my grubby little paws on the new single from Tye Tribbett, entitled Fresh, from the forthcoming album of the same name, in stores on October 19.
And, of course, I’m sharing it with you guys.

For my tastes, I would have preferred a BIT less autotune and effects because it’s hard to understand some of the words, but I really enjoy the beat and the chord progressions enough to scoot in reeeeaally close to catch the lyrics. And I like ‘em!
By the way, I’m REALLY diggin’ the cover for the single. It’s… FRESH!

If you attended the AIM Convention this year, you’ve already seen this performance… but for those of us who couldn’t make it, I’m grateful for YouTube and a user named LYRIC1973…
Jonathan Nelson performed songs from his upcoming album, entitled Better Days, which will be released through Integrity Music on September 14th. This particular video is footage of a song called “There Shall Be A Performance.” The tune is one of those catchy songs with clever and singable lyrics for which Jonathan Nelson is becoming known.
Plus, the song features Kierra Sheard, whose live performances ALWAYS remind me that she has more potential than most of us have seen. Can’t wait ’til it’s all revealed.
Anyway, I’m diggin’ it… from the verses to the vamp. I’d pump it in the car.

I’m assuming that most of you have Encore, the latest album from James Fortune & FIYA.
If not, though, it’s your lucky day. James Fortune sent a Twitter message today with a link to listen to their second single, “I Believe.” The tune features Shawn McLemore and Zacardi Cortez on lead vocals. It’s a pretty good track!
Now, lemme know what you think!!!
EXCLUSIVE!!!
I got my paws on some new music from Gary Mayes, titled “Thanq U 4 Takin’ My Place,” featuring the incomparable LeJeune Thompson on guest vocals. It’s definitely gotten more than a few spins from me today!
The track isn’t even fully mixed and mastered yet, so you’re getting it raw and real. Still, for your listening enjoyment and edification, I’ve just added it to the PunditPlayer.

He’s baaaaaaaaack… I’m talking about Jonathan Nelson, with his new single, “Expect the Great.”
Along with his group, Purpose, Nelson made waves through the gospel and CCM industry with “My Name Is Victory,” a few years back. “Expect the Great” is a worthy follow-up and an exciting preview of what we’ll hear when his new album is released later this year. I trust that choirs and praise teams across this U. S. of A. will be singing it en masse, and the slogan “expect the great” will run like wildfire.
In short– it’s more than dope.
For your listening pleasure, I’ve added it to the PunditPlayer.
And make sure you leave a comment so that Jonathan knows what you think of the new single.
