I know, it’s not a term we commonly use in the gospel music industry.  But let’s, because it’s not above us.  And it’s kinda cool when used in this context.

So, what is a pundit?  Better to ask “who is a pundit?”… and I’d say “not me.”

Well, not just me, anyway.  Wikipedia says that a “pundit” is “someone who offers to mass-media his/her opinion or commentary on a particular subject area, on which he/she is presumed to be knowledgeable.”  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pundit_(expert).

So, in reality, we’re all pundits.  Or, at least, we’re going to be.  This is our site.  Sure, I moderate it, but it thrives on our opinions, our commentary and our thoughts.  And, through that, we’ll all become more knowledgeable about one of our favorite topics– gospel music and the industry that cranks it out.

This is more than breaking news and album reviews (though, we’ll chat about all that stuff… and I love how it rhymed).  This is your forum.
