Where YOU Been?!: Charles & Taylor

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Where YOU Been?! post… this time around, I’m wondering where we can find Charles & Taylor.
They were around for a hot minute, but I have no idea where they went. Their self-titled album was released on Integrity Music in 2005 and featured the single “Still Gonna Pray” (which I ADORED). They were nominated in the “Urban Gospel Album” category at the 2006 Dove Awards. Charles & Taylor, aged 15 and 13 respectively at the time, are siblings that I thought would be their generation’s urban version of Bebe & CeCe Winans.
They both had GREAT, mature voices and I was really excited to follow what they’d do. So, I did a little diggin’…
First stop was their website, http://www.charlesandtaylor.com/. It’s still up, though it hasn’t really been updated in a while (some newer pics, though). Same goes for their MySpace page, though it indicates that there will be new music coming soon. NICE! Can’t wait to hear how they sound now.

My assumption is that they took some time to finish high school and they’re gonna re-enter the scene now. If so, that’s a good look. I’ma try to track ‘em down some more and find out what the deal is.

love these two..1 their voices were SO mature for their ages
they had great placement which IMO is a natural
vocal skill. that the GREATS posses…and i liked how their topics
werent kiddie…
cant wait to hearm them now!!

Still gonna pray & I’m So Happy where my favorites as a new radio DJ in ’06. I want to get their next project. Please keep us posted.

I’ve always liked this single!!! I would play it over and over again…I still need to purchase their first cd! I hope they come back to the gospe music scene!!!

Nice! We need more just like this as well. The youthful sound is great & the message is clear. Can’t wait to hear the new project. Would love to have them here in ole NJ!

No worries for the new music, Charles and Taylor are working hard at the moment and the new tracks are bananas. Me and Taylor are friends and I got to hear some unreleased tracks. They still got the talent and are still puttin out the best for the Lord. Keep your eyes peeled.

Im trying to find this song dont know the title but it was either Happy or Im so happy/
it was a gospel rendition of Cameo’s candy.

Charles and Taylor are doing great! They are about to come out with some new music soon! They go to my church and sound better than ever!
